Bally Bet Casino is the online casino of the iconic Bally brand, known for its land-based casinos across the US. It is available in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.

The highlights of my Bally Bet Online Casino review were the ongoing promotions with a constant stream of offers and low 1x wagering requirements for all bonus funds.

With a $1,000 budget, I set out to test Bally Bet Casino. I’ll walk you through every feature, including promotions, user experience, games, banking, and customer support, telling you exactly what I experienced and thought in this Bally Bet review.

Bally Casino Review

Bally Casino Pros and Cons

Pros 1x wagering requirement for all promos
Pros Lots of regular promotions
Pros Available in Rhode Island
Cons Smaller library of games
Cons No integration with Bally’s physical casinos

Bally Bet Casino Promotions and Bonuses

Bally Bet knows how to keep its players coming back with a stream of promotions, including daily picks, cashback, prize draws, and more. I’d even say Bally’s is one of the best online casinos when it comes to ongoing promos; the number and variety of promos during such a short time is one of the best I’ve seen.

I love how there was never just one promo running but always multiple offers available at once. It really added to my experience and motivated my gaming. What impressed me is that all their bonuses come with a 1x wagering requirement. It just makes gaming that much more relaxed.

The only letdown in this area is that their Bally Rewards program from land-based casinos isn’t connected to the online platform.

Welcome Bonus

Bally Bet Casino Promotion Offer

Bally Bet Casino has a welcome bonus of up to $100 back of what you lose on your first deposit. Cashback casino bonuses are my favorite type of welcome promotion because it actually allows you to just enjoy the gaming without thinking about qualifying games or wagering requirements right away.

I didn’t have to overthink every game or play it overly safe, as I knew I’d get a chunk of my losses back either way. It gave me the freedom to try out whatever games I wanted.

This offer is the same in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.

Here’s how I claimed it. After I signed up, I had to make a minimum deposit of $10 to get the promotion and place a wager. Since I had a $1,000 budget, I decided to claim the full amount of $100. Only your first deposit counts toward the bonus. So, if you deposit $10 and later decide to add another $90, it won’t increase your refund.

Once you make your first wager, you enter a seven-day period. During that time, your play is tracked to determine your net loss, which is basically the total amount wagered minus your total winnings. At the end of the week, my net loss was $35, which I received back as a bonus.

If your net loss is 90% or more of your first deposit by the end of the week, they’ll refund the full amount in bonus funds. If it’s less than 90%, you’ll get exactly what you lost. It’s basically a win-win. You walk away with your winnings or get a bonus to make up for any losses.

During the week, I could test out the full gaming library. The best part about this promotion is that all casino games are eligible. I actually felt encouraged to branch out and try games that I normally would pass on. It turned my gaming experience into something fun and low-pressure, which isn’t something a lot of casino promos manage to do.

I was impressed to see that the promotional period is seven days. Other net loss welcome bonuses that I’ve seen are usually only for the first 24 hours, like at BetRivers Casino and Horseshoe Online Casino. However, the bonus is higher at these online casinos, up to $500 at the former and up to $1,000 at the latter. So, in terms of value, the Bally Bet Casino bonus isn’t as high as similar promotions on the market.

What’s also great is that the bonus has a 1x wagering requirement. This means that the bonus only has to be wagered once before it can be withdrawn as winnings. I could actually enjoy gaming instead of grinding through wagering requirements and having to be careful about which games I was playing.

It’s worth noting that you can’t withdraw anything during that seven-day period, or you’ll automatically be disqualified from the bonus. The promotion is designed for your losses, so once you start cashing out, it’s assumed that you no longer need that safety net. You have seven days to use the bonus before it expires.

This Bally Bet Casino promo is a low-risk and beginner-friendly choice. It’s perfect for new players who want to explore the games without worrying too much about losing their first deposit. The only downside is that it isn’t as high as other top casino promotions that I’ve seen, but it’s still reasonable for casual players.

Bally Rewards

Bally Rewards is the loyalty program of the online platform, where you can exchange Bally Bucks for bonus money. This program is separate from Bally Rewards at the brand’s physical casinos. It is worth noting that Bally Rewards for the online casino is only available in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Players can earn Bally Bucks for their gameplay, which can be redeemed for bonus money; 1 Bally Buck is worth $0.01.

Here’s the rate of earning depending on the game type:

  • Slots + Instant Wins: 1 Bally Buck for every $20 wagered

  • Baccarat + Roulette: 1 Bally Buck for every $100 wagered

  • All Other Casino Games: 1 Bally Buck for every $250 wagered

It takes a lot of gaming to earn any proper rewards. For example, if you look at Caesars Palace Online Casino, you earn 1 Reward Credit for every $5 on slots and $25 on table games.

What really disappointed me was the lack of integration with Bally’s physical rewards. Other top loyalty programs, like Caesars Rewards or MGM Rewards, allow your online play to contribute to in-person benefits for hotel stays, shopping, dining, and entertainment. Even smaller ones, like Ocean Rewards and Resorts Rewards, offer physical rewards for online activity.

Unfortunately, the online Bally Rewards doesn’t offer any real-world perks or crossover with its locations. For a brand that has such a strong standing in the casino industry, it feels like a missed opportunity not to connect its online platform with its physical locations.

Bally Daily Picks

Bally Daily Picks is a simple promotion that gives you a reason to log in every day. Since I was already planning to deposit and play, it was a low-effort, easy promotion for a shot at bonus money.

Each day, you just need to make a minimum casino deposit of $10 to be eligible. Then, you’ll get to play the daily game, where you’re given six picks on a grid. Each pick will reveal a symbol, and the goal is to collect sets of matching symbols to win bonus money.

Here’s the full prize breakdown:

  • 3 matches: $1

  • 4 matches: $2

  • 5 matches: $3

  • 6 matches: $5

  • 7 matches: $10

  • 8 matches: $20

  • 9 matches: $250

  • 10 matches: $750

There’s also “Bally Bonus Picks,” which happens on the 15 of the month and last day of the month. Every Daily Pick you make during the month earns you an entry toward those bonus rounds. On those two days, you’ll get to open one envelope per entry, each containing a random prize between $0.10 and $10.

Over the week I was on the site, I won three matches once and five matches twice, earning me $7 in total. That's not bad for something that took less than a minute each time. I missed a couple of days, either because I didn’t deposit or because I just annoyingly forgot to claim the promo.

By the 15, I had enough entries to open three envelopes from the Bally Bonus Picks. There were two small amounts, $0.20 and $1, but one gave me a $5 bonus. The best part was remembering that all the bonuses came with a 1x wagering requirement.

Net Losses Back

Similar to the welcome offer, Bally’s had a cashback promotion that offered 15% back on your net losses up to $100. Since I’d already claimed the welcome offer, this one didn’t feel as valuable, so I gave it a miss.

For the full 15% back up to $100, you need to wager $250 every day for seven days. If you only manage six out of the seven days, you’d still get 10% back up to $50. The bonus had the usual 1x wagering requirement and seven-day expiry.

It’s one of those promos that makes sense if you’re playing a lot and betting big, but for more casual players, it’s not really worth chasing. Unless you plan to play daily at that level, it feels like more effort than reward.

Bet + Get

Bally Bet Casino has regular “Bet and Get” offers, which require you to wager a specific amount on eligible games during a set time. If you complete it, you’ll receive a bonus. It’s as simple as that.

While I was on the site, there were two “Bet & Get” promotions. One was “Bet $200 + Get $15,” while the other was “Game of the Week: Bet $50 + Get $5.” I skipped the first since I didn’t want to commit $200 to those particular slots, but the second felt more manageable, so I went for it.

I’ll explain how the one I claimed worked to give you an idea. All I needed to do was wager $50 on 88 Fortunes, the game of the week, and I’d get $5 in bonus money. No opt-in was required, and the $5 was credited to my account after the week ended.

The bonus came with a 1x wagering requirement and a seven-day expiry, so I used it right away on Blood Suckers to take advantage of its high RTP and withdraw easily. Overall, I thought it was a solid offer, and it gave me a reason to revisit games I wouldn’t usually pick myself.

Deposit Match Bonuses

Bally Bet Casino also has deposit match bonuses from time to time. In these, you deposit, and they give a percentage of that amount back as bonus money. For example, I saw a 10% deposit match up to $20.

I wasn’t a massive fan of this promotion, as it’s not just your deposit and receiving the bonus, but you have to pay $150 on slots to qualify for it. It happened that I’d planned on slot gaming that day, so I did manage to receive the bonus. But I wouldn’t have gone out of my way to claim this promotion.

Prize Pools

Players can earn a part of $2,500 in bonus money in the “Take the Wheel” promotion for playing live dealer roulette. The prize pool is split between 250 winners. I don’t usually see many promotions at online casinos based specifically around casino table games, so this was a nice surprise.

You earn one entry for every $100 wagered on one of the following live roulette tables:

  • Live Dealer American Roulette

  • Live Roulette NJ

  • Live Roulette PA

There is a cap of five entries per day. I played Live Roulette NJ on one of the days and hit the $100 mark quite quickly. I only had one entry, so as expected, I didn’t manage to win any bonus money.

Bally Bet Casino User Experience

In this section, I’ll walk you through my experience and thoughts of Bally Bet Casino’s interface and layout. While it isn’t the most cutting-edge or innovative online casino, it offers a solid and user-friendly experience that is good for beginners or casual players.

Desktop

Bally Bet Casino homepage with bonus offers and popular titles

Bally Bet Casino is clean, straightforward, and easy to navigate. It doesn’t try to overwhelm you with clutter or complicated features, which works well for anyone new to online casinos or players who just want to focus on gaming.

However, as it is so minimalistic, it also becomes kind of forgettable. It doesn’t push any boundaries or offer anything that separates it from other online casinos. It’s reliable, but there’s not really a distinct identity.

Navigating the platform is a breeze. The top bar gives you quick access to the sportsbook and casino, which is helpful if you use both platforms. Beneath this, you have quick links to the main features, including the homepage, slots, live casino, and promotions. There’s also a search bar here if you have a specific game in mind. Promotions are displayed on a carousel, which doesn’t take up too much attention; on some sites, I’ve seen it take up half the page.

Each section has further subcategories so that you can look at games by their type or provider. I would prefer if there were filters so that you can properly narrow it down. Because the collection is relatively small, I didn’t find it as much of an issue as I usually would.

At first, I thought the subcategories were for themes, but then I realized they were by a software provider and were just strangely named. For example, Light & Wonder is “Wonder Lights” and Inspired Entertainment is “Winning Inspirations”. It’s an odd choice that confused me more than anything. If you want to explore by theme, there are a few categories under “Floor Favorites,” too.

One thing that I appreciated is how they’ve separated the standard casino from the live casino. The latter has its own space, which makes it feel like a proper feature of the site rather than a tab hidden away in the game's lobby.

I also liked how, if you click the icon on each game, you’re redirected to a page with a small description and the minimum and maximum stake amount.

Once I started actually playing, everything ran smoothly. The games loaded fast, the visuals were clean, and I didn’t run into any lags or crashes. I switched between a few slots and some live dealer tables just to test it out, and everything was seamless.

All of the technical stuff, like responsible gaming, privacy policy, terms of use, and the help center, is neatly tucked at the bottom of the website.

Overall, Bally Bet Casino is a good starting point for beginners, and it’s safe to say it does the job well for a user-friendly experience. But if you're looking for innovative features or a distinct user experience, this probably won't be the platform for you.

Mobile

Bally Casino Mobile App

Bally Bet has a mobile app that is available on iOS and Android. After testing it out on my phone, I was quite happy with my mobile gaming experience, and I think I actually preferred it to using my laptop. Other users clearly agree that it is one of the best casino mobile apps, as the app has ratings of 4.6/5 on the App Store and 4.4/5 on the Google Play Store.

Downloading the app was quick, and I was logged in within minutes. Just like the desktop site, the design is clean and simple. Everything is where you’d expect it to be and optimized well for the smaller screen. I played a few games while I was out and about and didn’t experience any lag or freezing, even with a poor signal. Deposits were also fast and easy, thanks to Apple Pay.

What I loved was how easy it was to use the platform from my phone. I usually prefer to use my laptop, but after a few days of using the app, I found myself reaching for my phone. It just felt far more convenient, and there wasn’t a compromise in quality, which I’ve often found can be the case with casino apps.

I also appreciated how the sportsbook and casino are in a single app, saving players the hassle of downloading and switching between two different apps.

For players who prefer playing on the go or just want a reliable casino app, I would recommend the Bally Bet Casino mobile app. It’s convenient, easy to use, and makes mobile gaming feel smooth and enjoyable.

Bally Bet Casino has a library of over 770 games, including slots, table games, and live dealer games. It’s one of the smaller libraries that I’ve seen from an online casino in the US. The overall amount just doesn’t stack up to competitors, whether leading platforms like BetMGM Casino with over 6,000 games or smaller platforms like Resorts Casino with over 1,600 games.

On a positive note, it does have all the casino games that you’d expect from an online casino, even if it is a much smaller section. The only thing I think could be improved are the specialty games, but to be fair, these are more of a fun extra than an essential part of an online casino’s library.

Games are supplied by some of the top casino software providers including NetEnt, IGT, Light & Wonder, Roxor Gaming, just to name a few.

Altogether, I had $500 in deposited funds and a handful of bonuses to test out the gaming library. The best part is that I didn’t have to worry about clearing any pesky wagering requirements or playing a certain type of game because of a promotion, so my gaming felt unrestricted.

Slots

Bally Casino slot games

As expected, most of the games in Bally’s library are slots with over 650 titles. In addition to standard slots, there’s a solid mix of Megaways and jackpot games in the lineup as well.

You’ll find titles from leading software providers in the industry, such as IGT, NetEnt, and Big Time Gaming, among others. Classics like Starburst, Cleopatra, Cash Eruption, and Blood Suckers are available, but these games are staples at nearly every online casino in the US. That’s not necessarily bad; it’s always good to have familiar titles, but there aren’t many titles here that I haven’t seen before.

Since I had the safety net of the welcome promotion, I decided to just go in and play whichever titles I liked the look of. Usually, I consider the return to player (RTP), check volatility, and stick to games that I know will be consistent. This time, I didn’t have to worry about strategy, which made the experience that much more unrestricted and fun.

I started off by exploring their jackpot section; their exclusive title, “Deal Or No Deal,” stood out to me. The setup is pretty standard with cookie-cutter graphics, but the bonuses are where the game gets interesting. The first one I triggered was the “Banker’s Offer” feature, which kicks in randomly when the phone rings. You’re guaranteed a win, but then the banker tries to buy you out before you see what you’ve landed. There was also a “Mystery Briefcase Bonus” round, where you pick from briefcases that have cash or are empty.

By the end of the session, I walked away with just under $25 and no big jackpot wins to report. I quite liked the bonus features, but I wouldn’t call it a new favorite of mine. After that, I switched back to familiar high RTP slots like Blood Suckers just to balance things out.

I love the nostalgia of playing branded slots, but I usually avoid them because they tend to have higher RTPs. Since I felt more relaxed in my gaming, it was the perfect time to test out a few. A few favorites of mine from White Hat Gaming were The Flintstones, Peaky Blinders, The Goonies, and Ricky and Morty Wubba Lubba Dub Dub Jackpot Royale.

Table Games

Bally Bet Casino has a selection of over 50 table games, covering the classics like blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker, and craps. I love how they had plenty of variants so that gameplay didn’t feel repetitive or boring.

Unlike slots, I saw that there were several titles from West Pier Gaming that I hadn’t come across before. I tend to see the same table games at most online casinos in the US, so this was a refreshing surprise.

Roulette fans can enjoy staples like European, French, and American Roulette, as well as fun variants like Fusion Roulette, 10x Roulette, Bank It Roulette, and High Stakes Roulette. If you’re into poker, there are titles like DJ Wild Stud Poker, Fortune Pai Gow Poker, Four Card Poker, and Video Poker Remastered.

Blackjack has the highest number of titles with options like Blazing 7s Blackjack, Blackjack Classic, Atlantic City Blackjack, High Stakes Blackjack, Vegas Down Town Blackjack, and Vegas Strip Blackjack. A few baccarat games and a craps title rounded off this collection.

One game that I haven’t played in a long time was baccarat, so I got back into it during my time on the site. I started out by placing $5 bets on Banker, keeping it simple to begin with. The first few hands were mixed, with a couple of early losses, but then I hit a small streak of Banker wins that put me back ahead. I walked away with a small profit of $25, which wasn’t a huge win, but the overall session was still enjoyable.

Live Dealer

Players can explore over 60 live dealer tables, including blackjack, roulette, game shows, craps, dice, poker, and Sic Bo. Most of these tables are blackjack, so there’s always a seat available.

All of the games are supplied by Evolution Gaming. Normally, I’d want a bit more variety in providers to keep things fresh, but since it’s Evolution Gaming, it’s hard to complain. The studio consistently delivers titles with sharp streaming, smooth gameplay, and professional dealers. It’s no wonder they’ve become the gold standard for live gaming in the US.

I spent a lot of time playing Live Roulette NJ as part of the “Take the Wheel” promotion. I started by placing $10 bets on even numbers, just to ease myself into the gaming. My first few rounds didn’t go particularly well, but it was just the usual ups and downs of roulette.

After a while, I switched to a more aggressive strategy, splitting $30 across a handful of numbers in the second and third dozens. That change paid off when the ball landed on one of my numbers. Feeling confident, I put $15 on a corner bet that almost hit. After that, I placed a few smaller bets on red and odd numbers. I was up by a small margin by the end of the session, but the promo made it feel worth the time.

Specialty Games

Bally Bet Casino has a selection of specialty games that offer a refreshing break from standard casino gaming. They’re not the main draw of the site, but they still add a bit of variety to the library.

All of these titles can be found under the “Instant” category. Outside of Slingo, there is only one Keno and Scratch Card game. Normally, I’m used to there being a few more options or LuckyTap games, so this was a bit of a letdown. Still, if you want to break up your longer sessions with a bit of light and quick gaming, I’d check out the Slingo games.

Bally Bet Casino Payments

Bally Bet Casino NJ offers nine deposit methods and six withdrawal methods. I was impressed by how easy, smooth, and quick it was to deposit and withdraw funds. The only difference between banking in the different states is that American Express isn’t available in Rhode Island, and Cash at Cage isn’t available in Pennsylvania.

Deposits

Deposits at Bally Bet Casino can be made with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, VIP Preferred, Trustly PayPal, and Cash at Cage. It’s on par with other leading online casinos. For example, Caesars Palace Online Casino has eleven payment methods, while smaller sites like Wheel of Fortune Casino have ten.

I was happy to find that you at least have one option for debit cards, credit cards, e-wallets, bank transfers, and cash. However, there are popular options unavailable that some players may prefer, like Play+, Venmo, and PayNearMe. It was disappointing that there wasn’t any prepaid card method.

The minimum deposit is $10, which is the industry standard. The maximum deposit depends on the casino payment method; it is $5,000 for VIP Preferred and PayPal, while it is $10,000 for all other methods.

I started by depositing $100 into my account with Discover, which triggered the promotional period for the welcome bonus. It was a simple process; I just needed to enter my card details, confirm the transaction, and within seconds, the funds were ready in my account. No added steps were required like topping up a third-party account.

Here’s how I made my deposit:

  1. Go to “Wallet” and click “Deposit.”

  2. Choose your payment method.

  3. Enter financial information or log into your account.

  4. Enter your deposit amount.

  5. Click to confirm.

  6. Authorize the transaction in your banking app or wallet (if needed).

I deposited another $400 during the week across the rest of the payment methods to see exactly how they worked. Along with Discover, Visa, American Express, and Mastercard are accepted. These options are just as familiar and straightforward as you’re sure to have used at least one for an online transaction in the past.

While testing the Bally Bet Casino app, I deposited funds on my iPhone using Apple Pay. All I needed to do was double-click with Face ID, and my deposit was in my account in seconds. This is by far the quickest and easiest way to deposit funds, but it is only for iPhone users.

For bank transfers, you can use Trustly or VIP Preferred. Both were simple and didn’t take long at all.  With VIP Preferred, you’ll need to enroll through the online portal by entering your routing number and bank account number.

Trustly doesn’t require enrollment; you just log into your bank through the Trustly portal. My bank didn’t flag anything this time for either transaction, which was positive, as it has happened in the past. However, depending on their policies, banks can sometimes flag gambling transactions, so it’s worth taking that into account.

PayPal is also available if you prefer to use e-wallets. It’s a little annoying that it’s not a direct transfer, and you have to preload funds to use it, which has a fee of $2.99. However, it has an extra security layer by acting as a middleman between your bank and the online casino. Because of this, your banking information stays private, and gambling transactions won’t show up directly on bank statements.

If you would like to make a deposit with cash, you can visit Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino. This is a useful option for regular players or those wanting to deposit in-person. It would be time-consuming and out of the way for me, so I prefer to use digital deposit methods.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals at Bally Bet Casino can be made through Visa Direct, Mastercard Send, PayPal, VIP Preferred, Trustly, and Cash at Cage. This covers the basics, and most players should have a preferred option.

Compared to other online casinos, it sits somewhere in the middle in terms of this selection. It doesn’t quite match the variety you’ll find at larger platforms like BetMGM or Caesars, but it’s more flexible than sites like Resorts Casino, which only offers four options.

The minimum withdrawal is $10, while the maximum is $10,000. Cash withdrawals can be higher, but it is subject to approval.

For my first withdrawal, I went with Visa Direct. It was straightforward to use, and the money landed in my account in just under a day. It also felt more convenient to have it directly in my bank account rather than transferring through a third party.

Here’s how to make a withdrawal:

  1. Click on the “Balance Amount” icon under the wallet.

  2. Select “Withdraw.”

  3. Choose your withdrawal method.

  4. Enter the amount.

  5. Click to confirm.

  6. Wait for processing.

Mastercard worked exactly like my Visa withdrawal and took even less time. I requested the withdrawal in the morning, and it was in my account that evening. If you want the fastest payouts, PayPal is the best option. When I tested it, the funds were in my account in just a few hours. The downside is that it’s not a direct transfer, so you may have to take it out of that account.

Trustly and VIP Preferred are also available, although they’re a bit slower than the other options. Trustly was the faster option, as my withdrawal was processed in about a day and a half, whereas VIP Preferred took around four days to reach my bank account.

You can also opt for a cash withdrawal at Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino. Even though I prefer online methods, I tested it for the sake of this review. I requested a $10 withdrawal, and a few hours later, I received an email that told me it was ready to be collected. Although I’ll admit, I didn’t actually go to pick it up. Still, it’s one of the faster methods and might be a good option if you’re local or planning a visit.

Bally Bet Casino Customer Support

Customer support at Bally Bet Casino can be contacted through email and live chat. I’m happy with my experience with customer support; all of my questions were answered, and it wasn’t difficult to get the information that I needed. The only thing missing is phone support, so I can’t give it full marks in this area.

Before talking to support, I usually check the Help Centre to see how useful it is. In this case, I was pleasantly surprised. Bally Bet Casino’s section is more detailed than most I’ve come across at online casinos. It doesn’t just brush over things but has a lot of the specific information I was looking for.

There were still a few things I needed clarification on, so I got in touch through the support channels. The following options are available:

  • Email: support@nj.ballybet.com, support@pa.ballybet.com, support@ri.ballybet.com

  • 24/7 Live Chat

Live chat is available around the clock, and it was by far the easiest way to get help. You access the live chat by clicking “Help & Support” and selecting your state. The floating icon is in the bottom-left corner.

The first time I used it, one person was ahead of me in the queue, and I was chatting with an agent in under a minute. The next time I used the chat, I also joined the queue behind one person, but that time it took closer to five minutes before I was connected. Either way, the wait wasn’t long.

Once I was connected, the experience was consistently solid. The agents were professional, friendly, and clearly knew what they were talking about. They replied to all my questions and gave me direct answers. It felt like they were genuinely there to help, not just providing copied-and-pasted answers or making it seem like I was annoying them.

For the purpose of this Bally Bet Casino review, I also tested the email support. Each state has its own specific email support. I sent off an email in the afternoon and got a response back six hours later. It was polite, detailed, and answered everything that I asked, but it was just much slower. I don’t really see a reason to send an email when the live chat is far more efficient and quick.

The only issue is the lack of a phone option. While most issues can easily be resolved through chat, it would be nice to speak with someone directly, especially for complex problems. Plus, it feels more personal.

If you need assistance, I’d recommend the live chat. It was fast, informative, and convenient, which is exactly what I want for customer support.

Where Is Bally Bet Casino Legal?

Bally Bet Casino is legal in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. It first launched in New Jersey at the start of 2022, Pennsylvania in 2023, and Rhode Island in 2024.

Bally’s is an established name in the casino industry with physical locations across the US. It originally began making pinball machines and moved into the slot machine business in the 1960s. From there, the first Bally-branded casino opened in Las Vegas. In 2020, Twin River Worldwide Holdings acquired the Bally’s brand and started rebranding many of its casinos under its name.

The situation in Rhode Island is different than in other states, as Bally’s has exclusive rights. That means the only legal online casino in Rhode Island is Bally Bet Casino

Each state has its own dedicated website, with slight differences in payment methods and promotions. For example, there is no Bally Rewards in Rhode Island, and you can’t use American Express for payments. For my Bally Bet review, I focused on the New Jersey site.

How to Sign-Up for Bally Bet Casino

Creating an account at Wheel of Fortune Casino was simple. The process took under five minutes, from loading the homepage to entering the platform. The process will be familiar if you’ve signed up for an online casino before in the US.

Here’s a step-by-step guide:

  1. Load the website or app.

Firstly, you can sign up for the Bally Bet Casino either through the website or by downloading the app. I actually signed up using my laptop, but it’s the same process on your phone. Once you land on the homepage, click the “Join Now” button in the top-right corner to begin registration.

  1. Fill out the information.

You’ll need to provide your mobile number, and here, there is the option to enter a promo code. A verification code will then be sent to the number that you input back on the site. Next, you’ll need to enter information like your name, date of birth, email address, full address, and last four digits of your SSN before creating a username and password for your account. Another verification code will be sent to your email for you to enter on the page, too.

  1. Agree to the terms.

You’ll need to check a few boxes confirming that you’re 21 or older, that the details you’ve entered are accurate, and that you’ve read and agreed to the terms and privacy policy. It’s tempting to skip through it, but honestly, I always go over the terms as it can save you from future misunderstandings.

Remember that Bally Bet Casino legal states include New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.

  1. Verify your identity.

If they’re unable to verify your identity automatically, you’ll need to upload a picture of either your driver’s license, passport, or state identification. The information on your document will need to match the details used to create your account. Most verifications are completed instantly.

  1. Deposit funds and start playing games.

Once your account is up and running, you can make your first deposit and activate the welcome promotion. As soon as you make your first deposit, the promotional period will begin for the welcome bonus. I won’t go into the deposit process here since I already went through it earlier.

Bally Bet Casino Final Verdict

Before my Bally Bet Casino review, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The brand has a strong presence in the casino industry, but it doesn’t get the same attention as bigger names in online gaming.

The platform does really well in a few areas. The design is clean and intuitive, which works well for beginners. The mobile app delivers a smooth and convenient gaming experience, which I actually found myself preferring to the website.

My highlight was the promotions. Not only was there a plethora of promos, but any bonuses came with a 1x wagering requirement, which is rare. This alone made testing out the games feel low-risk and more relaxed. It makes a big difference not to be restricted or have to worry about strategy, but just enjoy the gaming for what it is.

Banking was smooth and quick. There’s a solid lineup of deposit and withdrawal options, but more can be added. Plus, I was impressed with the speed of payouts with PayPal, Visa, and Mastercard. Customer support was also excellent. Live chat can be used 24/7, and every time I used it, the responses were fast, polite, and informative.

There wasn’t one area that I had proper issues with, but a few small things could be improved. The games library is smaller than most other online casinos. Even then, I was still happy with the selection of games, especially the live dealers and table games.

Not having a connection between the online and in-person Bally Rewards seems like a missed opportunity, especially compared to other top loyalty programs in the industry. Another letdown was the lack of phone support. The platform itself is also quite basic, which might not be right for players who want advanced features.

Bally Bet Casino is a reliable, simple online casino perfect for players who value easy gaming, fast withdrawals, and generous promotions. It’s not the most innovative site available, but it’s an all-around solid choice. With a few improvements, it could become even more competitive in the industry.

Responsible Gambling

Bally Bet Casino has a strong focus on responsible gaming, with a selection of tools and resources available. While the content is all there, the organization of the section could be clearer.

The responsible gaming section is linked at the bottom of the site. Everything is packed onto a single page, and the only way to navigate is to scroll all the way through. It could be more intuitively laid out and sorted rather than just a wall of text.

The actual content is solid. You can find information about setting deposit limits, spend limits, loss limits, player history, account cool-off, and self-exclusion. There are also helpful tips, links to support organizations, myths associated with gambling, a self-assessment questionnaire, risks, and more. It’s clear that they genuinely want to support their players rather than provide the page because they have to.

How We Rate Casinos

Our approach to evaluating online casinos is based on firsthand experience. Rather than providing generic overviews, we take a direct approach by funding our account with real money and playing as actual users. Our testing budget is set at $1,000 per platform, ensuring that we can fully explore the online casino’s features.

For this review, I spent a week at Bally Bet Casino. I used $500 of my $1,000 budget. $130 was used specifically to claim promotions, while the rest was used to also test out the payment methods.  This gave me enough to fully explore the gaming library. By the end of the week, I had $465 ready to be withdrawn, which meant my net loss from the welcome bonus was $35. I divided this amount among the withdrawal options.

Our writers spend at least two hours on these five key areas:

  1. Deposits and withdrawals: We test every payment method, from credit and debit cards to e-wallets, bank transfers, prepaid cards, and cash. We assess how easy it is to fund an account. When it comes to payouts, we check processing times, fees, and overall convenience.

  2. User experience: We evaluate the platform's design, layout, and overall performance, ensuring everything runs smoothly. We like a polished, modern, and well-organized interface that provides a user-friendly experience for players. We also see how the games are sorted and how easy it is to explore the library. We check how the platform works across desktop and mobile.

  3. Games: This is the fun part! We explore all that the gaming library has to offer, looking for a good mix of slots, table games, live dealer tables, and specialty games. We like to see titles from top software providers as well as lesser-known studios. We place real-money bets, telling you exactly how much we win or lose.

  4. Promotions: We claim every promotion offered, including welcome bonuses, ongoing promotions, VIP programs, and more. We aim to see if these offers add value to your gaming and the exact process of claiming them. We break down the terms and conditions to judge how fair they are.

  5. Customer support: We reach out to support through all channels, including live chat, email, and phone. We assess their reply time, quality of information, and overall professionalism. We also check the FAQ section and responsible gaming tools to see how well the platform supports its players.
