I love how this feels like the classic game. I kept expecting to collect Boardwalk or Park Place each day. Unfortunately, I didn’t win any prizes during my week of testing.

For every day you play, you also earn picks for a Bonus Parking Picks round, which is available on the 15th and last day of each month.

Monopoly Casino User Experience

My experience testing out Monopoly Casino interface and app was positive overall. The desktop and mobile versions were functional, and I enjoyed the design. The Monopoly board game is a natural fit for a casino theme, and I think the site honors the fun and timeless feel of the game.

Desktop

Monopoly Casino's homepage is laid out on a white background with blue design accents. I recognized the classic red Monopoly logo right away, and the Monopoly Man character even shows up occasionally.

Game categories are listed near the top, just below the Join Now and Log In buttons. Categories include: Slots, New Games, Table Games, Jackpots, Floor Favorites, Instants, and Free.

As you scroll down the main lobby page, you’ll also find a few extra categories like Best of the West (western-themed games) and Monopoly exclusives. Scroll all the way down and you’ll see information like Monopoly’s privacy policy and help/support.

You can manage funds by clicking the red “Deposit” button at the top. You can also see your balance, divided into regular and bonus amounts.

I found the desktop site a bit sluggish, taking several seconds to load the many game thumbnails. Although I like using a computer for the large screen size, this issue was enough to make me prefer the mobile version.

Mobile

Monopoly Casino has an app for both iOS and Android users. I downloaded the Monopoly app at the Apple Store and was able to log in with my email and password to start playing,

I tried out both the Monopoly mobile app and the Safari browser version on my phone, and was pleased to see that the features were almost identical. The main features at the top of the screen on desktop, like the search bar and promotions menu, move to the bottom when using mobile. The overall performance was much faster than it was on a desktop computer, with images and games loading quickly.

While the app itself lacks a lot of bells and whistles some of the best mobile casino apps have, it's decent enough and you can play on it without any issues, which is more than enough in my books.

Monopoly Casino Games

Monopoly Casino has more than 700 games. Casino games include everything you would expect to find at the online casinos; slots, table games, and live dealers. This is a good amount to keep players entertained, although it doesn’t compare to some of the best US online casinos like BetMGM or Caesars that have thousands of games.

I was happy to see seven Monopoly-branded titles here, like Monopoly Paradise Mansion and Monopoly Rising Riches.

Game categories are listed along the top of the page. However, if you click on a heading - for example, Slots or Table Games - you’ll find it broken down into further categories.

Slot Games

Slots make up the majority of games here, with 580 slot titles. With some of the most popular casino slot games you can find in the US.

The slots page categorizes games into 12 groups, with names like “Red Hot Thrills” and “Global Gems”.

There’s a search bar if you’re looking for a particular game. There doesn’t appear to be a way to search by game developer, which I always find useful. However, I found games by some leading industry game developers like NetEnt, IGT, and Everi.

There are 34 jackpot games, with themes from Peaky Blinders to Deal or No Deal. I was personally happy to see 32 versions of my favorite game, Slingo. I spent time playing my favorites, like Slingo Berserk and Slingo Space Invaders.

I was disappointed that Monopoly doesn’t allow you to demo games before spending money. However, you can click on the info button on the top-right corner to find out more about a game.

Here are my top picks for slot games at Monopoly Casino:

Table Games

There are 69 table games available at Monopoly Casino. This includes several versions of classic casino table games like blackjack, roulette, poker, and baccarat. I counted 21 blackjack and 14 roulette titles. For something a little different, Monopoly also has Pai Gow, Sic Bo, Dragon Tiger, and Hi-Lo.

I tried out blackjack, roulette, and video poker, looking especially for titles I haven’t tried before. I won $75 playing Blazing 7s Blackjack (Light & Wonder).

I do think the organization of table games could be better. The RNG games are mixed in with the live versions, making them hard to distinguish. Like with the slots, I couldn’t sort games by developer, but the majority of table games come from Evolution Gaming, Light & Wonder, and IGT.

Live Dealer Games

Monopoly features 55 different live games. Blackjack is king here with a whopping 40 rooms, but you’ll also find roulette, poker, baccarat, and Sic Bo.

There are also a few game shows and other titles in this category, like a football and horse racing game. I tried out Dream Catcher, Race Track, and Football Studio.

Note that the live games here aren’t open 24 hours. A handful were closed each time I visited throughout my Monopoly Casino review. Before entering a live game, you can see who is hosting as well as the number of people already playing.

Monopoly Casino Payments

Monopoly Casino accepts seven different deposit methods, and six for withdrawals. Although there’s room for them to add more options, I was happy to see the most common ones available here.

I personally tested the Monopoly Casino payment process by making deposits and withdrawals, and found it to be very easy to use. 

Deposits

You can make a deposit at Monopoly Casino using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, PayPal, VIP preferred, or in person at the Bally’s Atlantic City Casino. Apple Pay is also available if you’re using the iOS version of the app.

Notable omissions to this list include American Express and other e-wallet options like Skrill or Venmo. While a few more methods would be nice, I think there’s a viable option for the majority of players here.

The minimum deposit amount at Monopoly Casino is $10, except for the in-person option which has a $20 minimum. The maximum deposit amount is $5,000 for PayPal, and $10,000 for all other methods.

For my Monopoly Casino review, I made my first deposit of $100 using Mastercard, since I wanted to maximize the cashback bonus offer. It was like any other online purchase. I simply entered my card details and the payment went through instantly.

I then made two more deposits of $50 each to try out PayPal and Apple Pay. Again, there were no surprises - both are seamless ways to deposit money online. The money landed in my account balance immediately.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals can be requested with Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, VIP Preferred, Apple Pay, or in person at Bally’s Atlantic City. Withdrawal methods are almost identical to deposits, with the only exception being that Discover is not an option.

You must have used a payment method to make a deposit at least once in order to use it for withdrawals. Monopoly Casino will default to the most recent casino payment method, but you can change it when making your request.

The minimum withdrawal you can request is $10. Monopoly’s payment team processes requests in 24 hours, but your winnings can take up to five days to arrive depending on the payment method and your bank.

Here are the steps to make a withdrawal:

1. Go to your wallet, and click “Withdraw.”

2. Choose the payment method to receive funds.

3. Enter the amount of your withdrawal.

4. Click “Withdraw” again to finish.

5. Wait for processing.

I had enough eligible winnings to try all the withdrawal methods. You can check the table below to see how fast each one was. The only option I didn’t get to test was picking up the cash in person, since I don’t live near Atlantic City. I had to rely on what customer support told me, which matched what I expected.

Monopoly Casino is definitely one of the fastest payout casinos, but it, sadly, fails in some other categories.

Unfortunately, I didn’t find the 24/7 promise to be true, as I tried for several days to get a response from their support team.

I first tried the live chat option. After entering my question, I was asked to confirm the name and email address on my account, and then put in a queue to wait to chat with an agent. It indicated that there were five people ahead of me.

If you’re kept waiting longer than 10 minutes, however, the queue simply disappears. I was confused for a second, and tried again. I finally checked my email and saw that this is standard practice - Monopoly's team just sends a request ticket to your email if you’re kept waiting.

I then decided to email them directly to see if that would get me a faster response. However, in the week I’ve spent writing this Monopoly online casino review, I haven’t received a response to either my live chat-turned-email or my direct email.

This was a disappointing result, and I think Monopoly Casino could definitely work to make their customers feel that their questions matter.

On the positive side, their FAQ page is pretty thorough, with common questions divided into eight categories: Payments, Promotions, Accounts, Responsible Gaming, Technical, Games, Geolocation, and Verification.

I signed up using the desktop version, but you can also create your account on Monopoly’s mobile app. Here are the steps: 

1. Click “Join Now”: You’ll find this button in the top-right corner.

2. Enter mobile number: After you enter your mobile number, a verification code will be sent to your phone. Enter this code on the registration page to continue.

3. Provide personal details: Next, you’ll be asked for additional info, including email address, name, date of birth, gender, home address, and the last four digits of your SSN.

4. Verify your account: In order to deposit and withdraw money, you’ll need to verify your identity. This can be done by uploading a piece of government-issued ID.

Monopoly Casino doesn’t specifically ask you to agree to their terms and conditions, but there is a line of text saying that you’re agreeing just by completing the registration process. I recommend giving the terms and conditions and privacy policy a read before signing up.

Note that former Virgin Casino users don’t have to create a new account with Monopoly Casino. They can simply sign in using their old Virgin email and password.

My experience at Monopoly Online Casino was positive overall if you exclude dealing with the customer support. I enjoyed the nod to the original board game, from the Monopoly-branded games to the Free Parking Monopoly promo.

The Monopoly Rewards loyalty program is one of the outstanding features, allowing players to earn Monopoly Money while playing games. I also liked the welcome offer of up to $100 back on your first deposit losses. It’s nice to see Monopoly give new players a second chance to enjoy their games.

The game selection is decent at this casino, although I would like to see some better organization of categories. I'd also like them to offer demo versions to try out games.

The biggest weakness, in my opinion, was Monopoly Casinos'​ unresponsive customer support. I wasn’t able to connect with a person during my weeklong Monopoly review. Although I could get most of my questions answered with their FAQ section, I still got the impression that customer concerns aren’t a high priority.

With some improvements, I could see Monopoly Casino becoming a go-to option for many players. At the moment, I would rather play at some other online casinos.
