West Ham United picked up following Nuno Espirito Santo’s appointment as manager, but there is still considerable work to be done. West Ham also rank second-bottom for expected goals against, which shows they are giving up too many chances.

“It’s a quick turnaround [to the Manchester United game on Thursday], and we’re going to have two games in a short period that will require a lot of effort from us,” Nuno said on Sunday. “We have to give a good answer, which I expect to happen.”
