The Pacers and Thunder head into a crucial Game 2. Tyrese Haliburton is the engine behind Indiana's offense, making his assist total one to watch. For Oklahoma City, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's facilitating role is just as important as his teammates struggled to convert in Game 1. Andrew Nembhard's scoring has quietly become a factor, especially after his strong Game 1 showing. Meanwhile, Chet Holmgren's outside shooting could be a game-changer, and the Thunder need him to bounce back from a poor Finals debut. Don't forget to check out our Game 2 Same Game Parlay!

Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Indiana Pacers | +11.0 (-112) | +430 | Over 227.5 (-114) |
Oklahoma City Thunder | -11.0 (-108) | -590 | Under 227.5 (-106) |
In a poll of his NBA peers, Tyrese Haliburton was voted as the league’s most overrated player by 14.4% of the surveyed players. Now he’s in the NBA Finals, putting his playmaking, scoring, and clutch play on full display while 28 other teams sit at home.
Haliburton has been excellent this postseason, averaging 18.5 points, 9.5 assists, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.4 threes per game on 46.6% shooting. In Game 1, he had a solid 14 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and two threes, including the game-winning shot.
One of the league’s premiere playmakers, Haliburton collected over 8.5 assists in 10 games this playoffs. With momentum on their side, expect Haliburton to grow stronger as the series wears on, as he’s done all postseason.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is such a talented scorer that his playmaking can go under the radar. As Indiana tested the Thunder role players to perform in Game 1, expect the NBA MVP to create opportunities for his teammates to help them seal a Game 2 victory.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the 2024-25 NBA MVP, is averaging 30.2 points, 6.7 assists, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.6 threes per game on 47.1% from the field and 31.4% from deep. He was brilliant in Game 1, putting up 38 points, five rebounds, three assists, and three made threes despite failing to sink the game-winning shot.
Gilgeous-Alexander’s playmaking prowess is undeniable, collecting over 7.5 assists seven times this postseason. He’s proven to score against this Indiana team, so expect him to help get his teammates going to seal a Game 2 win.
Andrew Nembhard has quietly become an invaluable player for the Indiana Pacers through this postseason. The Canadian point guard is reliable in all areas, and while he’s not flashy, his productivity has been central to the team’s success.
Starting in Indiana’s 17 playoff games this season, Nembhard is averaging 12.9 points, 5.1 assists, and 1.8 threes per game on 46.6% shooting and 47.0% from deep. He was clutch for the Pacers in Game 2, putting up 14 points, six assists, four rebounds, and two made threes, as eight of his 14 points came in the final frame.
Nembhard has been a release valve for the Pacers offense, taking the pressure off Haliburton and scoring over 11.5 points in 11 appearances this postseason. Game 2 will be intense, and Nembhard will capitalize on his opportunities.
Chet Holmgren made his NBA Finals debut in Game 1 in just his sophomore season, and the bright lights may have gotten to the talented Thunder center. When he steps on the court for Game 2, expect Holmgren to adjust and help his team regain victory.
In 17 games this playoffs, Holmgren is averaging 15.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, and 1.4 threes on 47.7% from the field. In Game 1, Holmgren put up six points, six rebounds, and one block on 2-of-9 shooting.
Holmgren’s ability to stretch the floor is invaluable for the Pacers, and while he’s hit over 1.5 threes in seven games this postseason, his glaring attempt rate confused many in Game 1. Expect Holmgren to improve on his shot volume and quality in Game 2.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Points Over 34.5 (-108): When the Thunder struggle, they can always fall back on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The NBA MVP was unstoppable in Game 1, and he didn’t even receive a favorable whistle–expect him to lead the game in scoring once again.
Pascal Siakam Points Over 18.5 (-118): Pascal Siakam has been the veteran star that the Pacers needed to push them toward championship contention. The Eastern Conference Finals MVP has stepped up for the Pacers in their most crucial games, so expect the same as they try to wrestle a 2-0 lead from Game 2.
Jalen Williams Made Threes Over 1.5 (-114): Jalen Williams has been inconsistent at times this postseason, but his willingness to compete is undeniable. He’s hit over 1.5 threes in 10 of 17 games this playoffs, and with a 0-2 deficit facing the Thunder, expect Williams to come out aggressive in Game 2.
Chet Holmgren Rebounds Under 8.5 (-114): With the change to the Thunder’s starting lineup, Chet Holmgren is the lone frontcourt player in the team’s first five. Holmgren is a solid rebounder, but he’s weakened by having to battle with the Pacers’ center without immediate frontcourt support.
