NBA Player Props and Best Bets: Nikola Jokic, James Harden & More Picks for Monday, Nov. 17

Forget about trying not to catch a case of the Mondays, because I’ve made my selections for the best NBA player prop picks today.

Jaylen Brown’s 33 points and 13 rebounds helped lead the Boston Celtics past the Los Angeles Clippers despite 37 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds from James Harden. Lauri Markkanen also poured in 47 points in a double-overtime win over the Chicago Bulls, who are down to 6-6 after starting 5-0.

Monday’s schedule is headlined by the Milwaukee Bucks visiting the Cleveland Cavaliers in a matchup that will be streamed on Peacock, before the Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks will rematch in what was the Western Conference Finals a couple of years ago, although the teams now look much different.

Here are my best NBA player prop picks and bets for Monday, Nov. 17.

Best NBA Prop Bets Today 2025 11 17

Jalen Duren Over 12.5 Rebounds (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Duren has been a sensational rebounder since he first stepped foot on an NBA court. Still only 21, he averaged 12.0 rebounds per game and brought down 14 and 16 in his last two games as part of his going over this line in three of his last four outings.

The Detroit Pistons’ big man averaged 13.7 rebounds per game during November and is facing an Indiana Pacers squad that allowed the third-most rebounds per game. Indy also barely has any interior size, and Duren went over this line in four of his last seven games against Monday’s opponent.

James Harden Under 3.5 Threes (-132) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Harden is quietly having a terrific season for the Clippers, averaging 26 points, 9.0 assists, and 6.3 rebounds per game on 46/40/91 shooting splits. However, I believe that he’s in an unforgiving position on Monday, one that will cause him to go under this line against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Harden and the Clippers are on the second night of a road back-to-back. He played 38 minutes in last night’s loss and also played 51 on Friday in a double-overtime win against the Dallas Mavericks, which means that his body should be very tired. The Sixers’ perimeter defense is just about league-average, but I think that will be enough, even though Harden beat this line in six of his last eight games.

Derik Queen Under 13.5 Points (-128) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The 13th pick in the summer NBA Draft made waves last week when he dropped 26 points on 66.7 percent shooting against the Portland Trail Blazers. However, he only went over this line one other time in his 13-game NBA career and scored nine points in back-to-back contests since his 26-point eruption.

The New Orleans Pelicans are about to face the stifling defense of the Oklahoma City Thunder, who will present a plethora of challenges to the rookie. OKC also has terrific shot-blockers in Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein patrolling the interior, and it will be tough for him to get any points outside of garbage time.

Nikola Jokic Over 27.5 Points (-118) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Joker began the year by averaging just 20.4 points and failing to eclipse 25 points in his first five games. Since then, he averaged 34.6 points on 71/55/88 shooting splits (my goodness) and went over this line in five of seven outings.

Although Jokic “only” discord 27 points during his last game on Saturday, he’s getting a favorable matchup with the Chicago Bulls. Chi-Town is 22nd in points allowed per game and 28th in points in the paint allowed per game, so the three-time MVP shouldn’t have any issue getting to his spots.

Davion Mitchell Over 1.5 Threes (+118) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Mitchell is known as a defensive player, but his offense has shown steady improvement since he arrived in South Beach. The 27-year-old shot 44.7 percent from three with Miami last year and is sitting at 38.5 percent 13 games into the new campaign.

While Mitchell has been more efficient recently, he still only made 1.2 threes per game. That said, the Knicks allowed the second-most made threes per game, and Mitchell went over in back-to-back games, one of those coming against the Knicks during his last game on Friday.
