Alright, let’s get the new week started with another batch of the best NBA player prop picks for Monday.

Scottie Barnes was excellent last night, leading the Toronto Raptors to a one-point win over the Philadelphia 76ers while dropping 31 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. Amen Thompson also had 31 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists, although the Houston Rockets fell to the Sacramento Kings.

There are six matchups on Monday, with the headliner being a rematch of last night’s overtime thriller between the Raptors and Sixers.

Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for Monday, Jan. 12.

Pascal Siakam Over 1.5 Threes (+116) at FanDuel Sportsbook

If there’s one area where the Boston Celtics have really struggled, it’s defending the three-point line. They ranked 24th in made threes allowed per game and three-point percentage allowed, which should work to the benefit of a Pacers team that is mostly undersized and doesn’t love to enter the painted area.

Siakam split the over/under in two matchups with Boston, going 0-3 from range in one meeting and 4-7 in the other. He’s also been pretty consistent in alternating between the over and the under, but the Celtics’ deficiencies on the perimeter mean that there’s strong value with these odds.

LeBron James Over 23.5 Points (-102) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Yes, it’s hard to believe that James, at 41 years old, can still consistently beat his points total. The reality is that, in the 13 games since his double-digit scoring streak was snapped, he averaged 25.6 points per game while shooting 54.5 percent from the field, and he went over in four straight games.

James shot a whopping 84.6 percent from the floor and scored 24 points when the Los Angeles Lakers faced the Sacramento Kings on Dec. 28. The Kings also allowed the fourth-most points per game and are on the second night of a back-to-back, all of which suggest this could be a strong night for The King.

Cooper Flagg Under 0.5 Threes (+182) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Let’s go big game hunting here. Flagg appeared to have found his rhythm as a scorer, but seemingly out of nowhere, he scored 15 or fewer points in four of his last six outings and only shot 41.1 percent from the floor to open the New Year.

Even that doesn’t tell the story of how poorly he’s been shooting the ball from beyond the arc. The 19-year-old only made 1.0 threes per game on 28.5 percent shooting, and he’s facing a Brooklyn Nets squad that allowed the fewest made threes per game on 35.1 percent shooting over their last 15 contests. He isn’t much of a pull-up shooter from three, and since he spends a lot of time on the ball, I don’t see him finding many great looks.

LaMelo Ball Over 7.5 Assists (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Ball hasn’t gone over this line very frequently, cashing the under in eight of his last nine games, despite averaging 7.8 assists per game. That could sound like trouble, considering he’s taking on a Los Angeles Clippers squad that allowed the fifth-fewest assists and third-fewest points per game over the last few weeks.

The reason I like Ball to cash the over is that the Clippers don’t really have a great defense, despite what the numbers might show—they just happen to play at the second-slowest pace in the entire league. The Charlotte Hornets scored 150 points in their last game, and I don’t think Kawhi Leonard and James Harden will enjoy chasing Kon Kneuppel, Brandon Miller, and the other guards and wings around the perimeter.

Keyonte George Over 22.5 Points (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

I’m going to overlook the Utah Jazz’s 55-point loss to the Hornets their last time on the floor, because, well, I have to. That game aside, George’s “slump” still saw him beat this line in five of his last eight games, part of him averaging 23.6 points per game on career-best 45/37/90 shooting splits.

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ defense hasn’t been there all year, and they’re just 15th in defensive rating. They also did a horrible job of defending the three-point line recently, allowing the most made threes per game in the league on 41.6 percent shooting over their last 15 contests, giving George a friendly matchup.
