As the build-up to Super Bowl LX continues, it’s time to dive into my top NBA player prop picks for Monday.
Jaylen Brown dropped 30 points and 13 rebounds to keep the Boston Celtics tied for second place in the Eastern Conference, while Jarrett Allen dominated with 40 points, 17 rebounds, and four blocks in a win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
There are only four games today, starting with the New Orleans Pelicans meeting the Charlotte Hornets and concluding with the Philadelphia 76ers facing the Los Angeles Clippers.
Here are my best NBA player prop picks and bets for Sunday, Feb. 2.

Miller split the over/under in his last four games, but he attempted at least seven threes in all of them, and he shot 43.5 percent from beyond the arc in January. The Charlotte Hornets are also confident, riding a six-game winning streak, and Miller should shoot the ball without hesitation.
The Pelicans ranked 25th in made threes allowed per game on 36.7 percent shooting over the last few weeks. LaMelo Ball, Kon Kneuppel, and Miles Bridges all require attention from the defense, meaning that Miller can’t get all of the attention, and I expect him to capitalize on the volume he’s getting.

Thompson scored 21 points in his last game and went over in two of his last three, although he had a cold streak just before that. I like his over tonight for several matchup-related reasons, one of those being that he already scored 20 points in only nine shots against the Indiana Pacers on Dec. 29.
Without Kevin Durant in the lineup, Thompson could see an increase on the 14 field goals he attempted per game in January. The Pacers also ranked 28th in points in the paint allowed per game, which fits Thompson’s modus operandi and puts him in a strong position.

Randle just dished out seven helpers against this same Memphis Grizzlies team during the Minnesota Timberwolves’ 131-114 win on Saturday. While that required a strong offensive performance from the Wolves, the Grizz ranked 26th in assists and 27th in points allowed per game over the last few weeks, meaning it wasn’t uncharacteristic of their defense.
Jaren Jackson Jr. is a solid shot-blocker and could deter Randle from taking attempts in the restricted area, leading to him kicking the ball and finding potential assists. The Wolves are also sixth in offensive rating over their last 15 contests, and the Grizzlies’ inability to get stops makes me bullish on this prop.

Harden went over this line in five of his last seven games and isn’t a one-man band like he was earlier in the year, now that he’s getting help from his healthy and productive teammates. He’s also about to take on a former team of his, the Philadelphia 76ers, which would give him extra motivation.
Harden, Kawhi Leonard, and Joel Embiid were all excluded from the recently announced All-Star teams, and I expect them to have a response. The Sixers ranked 28th in assists allowed per game since early January, which sets up Harden for success.

Oubre Jr. went under this line in seven of his last nine contests, despite him grabbing 10 rebounds in his last game. The Clippers also allowed the third-fewest rebounds on average over their last 15 outings.
With Harden, Leonard, John Collins and Ivica Zubac in the starting lineup, and with size and length on the bench, it’s not surprising that the Clippers have dominated the glass. Oubre Jr. was consistently under this line, and I don’t expect that to change today.
