Philadelphia is looking to repeat as Super Bowl champs
Jalen Hurts has been criticized for lackluster stats in 2025-26
The Eagles are 5.5 point favorites
Jalen Hurts has the Eagles entering the playoffs at 11–6 after finishing first in the NFC East. San Francisco comes into this matchup at 12–5 and will be ready for a tough road test in Philadelphia.
Hurts is a proven winner in the NFL, even if his statistical output has never been elite compared to some of the league’s top quarterbacks. I’ve selected three Jalen Hurts player props that stand out for this Wild Card matchup.

Kyle Shanahan is one of the best head coaches in the league, and I expect him to have the 49ers’ defense well-prepared. This feels like a difficult matchup for Hurts, which is why I’m fading him through the air this week.
Hurts has failed to eclipse 210 passing yards in each of his last three games. In the Eagles’ most recent contest, he threw for just 110 yards against the Bills, and a similar performance wouldn’t be surprising on Wild Card weekend.
Philadelphia typically plays its best football in the postseason by leaning on the rushing attack, especially behind Saquon Barkley. I expect Barkley’s role to increase in this game, which should limit Hurts’ passing volume.
Hurts isn’t a quarterback who regularly posts massive passing numbers, and I trust San Francisco’s defense to keep him in check through the air.

San Francisco’s defense has struggled at times against the pass this season, allowing 232.4 passing yards per game. In this spot, I like Hurts to throw at least two touchdown passes, especially if the 49ers are able to limit the run near the goal line.
Hurts has plenty of playmakers at his disposal, including A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Brown, in particular, is a reliable red-zone target who can win contested catches, giving Hurts a major advantage in scoring situations.
Hurts has cleared this line eight times this season. His passing attempts have increased as the season has progressed, giving him enough opportunities to cash this prop.
While Hurts may not rack up big yardage totals, I expect him to be at his best when it matters most in the red zone. Philadelphia should look to exploit San Francisco’s secondary, and Hurts is capable of executing that game plan.
The Eagles also have a strong tight end group that Hurts frequently targets near the goal line, and that could play a major role in this matchup.

For my final prop, I’m taking Hurts to throw an interception on Sunday. He’s only thrown six interceptions all season, but this sets up as a strong defensive spot for San Francisco.
Four of Hurts’ six interceptions came in a single game against the Chargers, showing that he can have outings where defenses key in on his tendencies. I expect Shanahan to have the 49ers’ defense well-schemed and disciplined, especially in coverage.
This is a tough matchup for Hurts based on what Shanahan has consistently shown in the playoffs. If Hurts isn’t careful, multiple interceptions are on the table, but we only need one to cash this prop.
