Tyrone Tracey Jr. is averaging 4.5 YPC since Skattebo’s injury
The Giants are allowing the highest YPC average in the NFL
Devin Singletary set season-highs in yards, carries, and TDs last week
The New York Giants will have another chance to beat an NFC North playoff team this week as they face the Detroit Lions. While Jaxson Dart and the Lions' pass attack may steal the headlines, we believe these backfields are in for big games. Detroit’s duo is already established as the league’s best, and the Giants’ new-look backfield delivered big last week. We expect both to shine tonight, leading us to lock in three rushing prop bets.
Below, we will share our three favorite prop bets for this weekend’s NFC matchup.

It seemed like Tracey’s role in the Giants’ offense was dwindling in the first half of the season, but he has been turning things around since resuming the top role. Since Cam Skattebo’s horrific injury four games ago, Tracey has been averaging an impressive 4.5 YPC. That has earned him more carries over the last two weeks, leading to 70+ rushing yards in two consecutive games.
There is also a belief that a new coach will help Tracey. The young man mentioned that the change re-energized him and the team. As a result, the Giants came painfully close to upsetting the Packers last week, with Tracey taking 19 carries for 88 yards (4.6 YPC).
The only reason we aren’t taking a higher yardage total is the Lions' defense. They have been solid against the run all season, ranking in the top ten in YPC and yards per game (99.7). However, the Packers' defense has been even better than Tracey. Considering his impressive success against them a week ago, we expect him to gain at least 50 yards on Sunday.

Gibbs was held in check by the Eagles last week, but he will have plenty of running room against a far easier opponent this week.
The Giants' run defense continues to be an issue, allowing the highest YPC average (5.5) in the NFL. The only reason that number isn’t worse is an early injury to Josh Jacobs last week, who had been averaging 5.7 YPC before his exit.
We know that Gibbs is one of the league’s most explosive backs in the NFL, averaging 5.2 YPC on the season. While he was quiet last week, he torched a bad Commanders run defense two weeks ago, taking 15 carries for 142 yards (9.5 YPC). We expect to see a similar performance this weekend against an even worse Giants defense.

With Mike Kafka taking over the playcalling last week, we saw Devin Singletary used as a devastating weapon at the goal line. He scored twice against the Packers last week, taking almost every snap once the team got inside the red zone. Given his success, we don’t expect that to change against the Lions this week.
Singletary’s new role also led to seeing twice as many carries as the previous two weeks, meaning he is having even more chances to score.
The Lions are stout against the run, but we believe his new role and increased volume will change that.
