The Las Vegas Raiders are once again searching for a new head coach, and this time the decision feels pivotal. Tom Brady isn’t a loser, so he should play a pivotal role in the hiring process.
Las Vegas has talented players, but they need an elite coach to turn them into a champion. Klint Kubiak is the pick where most insiders are leaning, but Davis Webb and Vance Joseph are also potential finalists.
Here, we will breakdown the candidates and give our take on who will be the next Raiders head coach.

Klint Kubiak has emerged as the clear favorite to land the Raiders job, and it’s easy to see why. Currently serving as the Seattle Seahawks’ offensive coordinator, Kubiak comes from one of the most respected offensive families in football.
He is the son of Gary Kubiak, who won a Super Bowl as the head coach of the Broncos. In his first season running the Seahawks offense, Kubiak helped engineer a significant turnaround.
Seattle finished in the top three in the league in scoring, averaging over 28 points per game. The Seahawks ranked among the league leaders in play-action usage and early-down success rate, helping Sam Darnold achieve unprecedented success.
Kubiak’s system is built on the outside-zone run game, layered play-action concepts, and RPO for quarterbacks. The Raiders have struggled to move the ball and they will have a rookie quarterback next season, so they need a great offensive mind at the helm.
Kubiak is viewed as a modern offensive mind with traditional structure, and this is one many owners want for their head coach.
The biggest question surrounding Kubiak is experience. He has never been a head coach at the NFL level, but his rapid rise has caused teams to take notice.
Davis Webb represents the “upside swing” candidate in this search. Webb is currently the pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Denver Broncos,
He is one of the youngest candidates drawing legitimate head-coaching interest. Despite being 30, he is being labeled as a potential head coach.
Webb played a key role in reshaping the Broncos’ passing offense. Denver improved its yards per attempt and red-zone efficiency from a year ago, and Bo Nix took a huge step as the starting quarterback.
Webb’s background as a former NFL quarterback gives him credibility in the locker room, especially with offensive players. He is known for his detailed preparation and player-friendly coaching style.
For the Raiders, hiring Webb would signal a long-term investment in offensive development and quarterback stability. However, a young head coach with a rookie quarterback likely isn’t the move for the Raiders.
Vance Joseph is the most experienced option on the Raiders’ list. Currently the defensive coordinator for the Broncos, Joseph has previously served as an NFL head coach and brings a commanding presence and defensive mindset.
Denver’s defense was one of the best in generating pressure, while finishing near the top of the NFL in most defensive categories. The Raiders have prioritized offensive minds for this role, so it’s unlikely Vance Joseph will get the job.
According to Kalshi, Kubiak has a 66% chance of getting the job. His stock has risen 31% in the past 24 hours. Webb is second at 23% and Joseph currently has a 2% chance of getting the job.
We agree with the prediction market as Kubiak seems like the easy pick for the job.
