Falcons +2 (-110) at BetMGM Sportsbook

The Atlanta Falcons are far better than they have been given credit for. While the offense started a bit slow, the defense has been elite. They lead the league by allowing just 253.4 yards per game, and rank seventh in points (20 PPG). They have also been fantastic on third down, allowing opponents to convert 32.1% of the time.

The offense started off clunky, but they have been red-hot over the last two weeks. He completed 70% of his passes for 563 yards and three touchdowns. The young quarterback continues to impress, thanks mainly to an offensive line that has allowed the fifth-fewest sacks in the league.

We may not know who will be starting for the Niners on offense until Sunday, but we see the state of their defense. While the unit managed to play well after Nick Bosa was injured, they crumbled when Fred Warner went down with a season-ending injury last week. His absence hurts both the run and pass defense, which will be obvious when watching this Sunday Night Football game.

We talked above about how Michael Penix Jr. has been over the last two weeks. He and receiver Drake London have rediscovered their connection, with the duo combining for 168 yards and two touchdowns in the previous two weeks. Given the talent and age of both stars, we expect that connection to continue to grow.

The reason the price on this one is so appealing is that Penix has only thrown for more than one touchdown once this season.
