On the back of four losses over his last five bouts, veteran Josh Emmett is a huge +390 underdog with FanDuel ahead of his matchup with 24-year-old Kevin Vallejos. Forty-one-year-old Emmett was submitted in the first round by Youssef Zalal last October, while “El Chino” defeated Giga Chikadze with a spinning backfist three months ago.

The odds suggest it would be some shock if Vallejos is to lose this fight as he enters the bout as the -590 favorite with FanDuel. The Argentine has just one loss on his record thus far and has won all three fights since entering the UFC. With almost no value on the moneyline, we could look to the method of victory betting market instead.

Emmett has only ever been knocked out once in his career and does have the ability himself to deliver a catastrophic blow to his opponent thanks to his power. While this may encourage Emmett to get close to Vallejos, “El Chino” has the ability to deliver huge blows of his own, proven by his impressive finish against Chikadze.

If Vallejos can secure the win, he will prove he’s got what it takes to square off against one of the top-10 contenders in the featherweight division. For Emmett, he’s trying to prove his career isn’t over despite his old age.

This top-10 battle in the women’s strawweight division is a worthy bout to feature as the co-main event on Saturday. Brazilian Amanda Lemos is on an incredibly mixed run entering this one, going 4-4 over her last eight fights, while Gillian Robertson is looking to extend her four-fight win streak.

A win over champion Mackenzie Dern in February 2024 is not enough for Lemos to be considered the favorite. Instead, Robertson is the -210 favorite with FanDuel after defeating Marina Rodrigues via knockout last May.

“The Savage” is known as more of a submission artist with strong grappling skills but has recently shown an ability to get the win using ground-and-pound. It will be on the mat that the Canadian will look to gain the advantage once again here.

As for Lemos, she has won more than half of her fights via KO/TKO, and will hope to use her good striking ability to get the victory this weekend. Nevertheless, the 38-year-old could certainly struggle in this matchup due to Robertson’s grappling superiority.

Ion CutelabaTALE OF THE TAPEOumar Sy

French international Oumar Sy is looking to make his mark and become a UFC light heavyweight contender with a win over Ion Cutelaba. Sy will have significant height and reach advantage over Cutelaba, and will need to secure a victory here to be taken seriously in the division. He’s currently a -260 favorite with FanDuel.

Sy will need to use that reach advantage to control Cutelaba early doors, particularly as the Moldovan likes to start strong early on in bouts. He has secured first-round victories over Ibo Aslan, Tanner Boser, and Khalil Rountree Jr. in the past. Cutelaba has won two of his last three fights but is heading into this one on the back of a loss to Modestas Bukauskas at UFC 315 via split decision last May.

As for Sy, he bounced back from his maiden UFC defeat against Alonzo Menifield with a ground-and-pound triumph against Brendson Ribeiro back in September. He’s currently 3-1 since joining the UFC in 2024.

Four wins and four defeats shows a recent mixed record for Andre Fili, but he does come into this fight after beating Christian Rodriguez via split decision last August. He’s the +280 underdog with FanDuel heading into this bout, however, as 27-year-old Jose Miguel Delgado aims to respond following a loss to Nathaniel Wood in his most recent bout at UFC 321.

A 26-second victory for Delgado against Hyder Amil at UFC 317 propelled his standing within the featherweight division last June. Nevertheless, missing weight and losing by unanimous decision against Wood means he needs to respond this weekend in Vegas.

Fili has the experience and the confidence from a victory in his last fight on his side. That said, Delgado’s stand up numbers make for better reading. He lands 8.22 significant strikes per minute compared to Fili’s 3.87.

Undefeated Marwan Rahiki is the -265 favorite with FanDuel ahead of his bout with former Cage Warriors champion Harry Hardwick. Rahiki secured a knockout victory over Ananias

Mulumba in Dana White’s Contender Series to land his first official UFC fight this weekend.

As for Hardwick, he suffered a first-round defeat against Brazilian Kauê Fernandes in his UFC debut last September. “Houdini” did have to move up to lightweight in that fight, though, so will feel more comfortable back down at 145 lbs.

Two fighters on win streaks will go head-to-head as Vitor Petrino takes on Steven Asplund in a heavyweight bout. Petrino secured back-to-back victories last year after submitting Austen Lane and sleeping Thomas Petersen. His power is what makes him a scary opponent for Asplund and what makes him the -250 favorite with FanDuel.

That power will be needed up against “Concrete”, however, as Asplund looks to extend his four-fight streak. He’s won all four of his last wins by knockout, including a second-round finish against Sean Sharaf in his UFC debut back in December.
