LIV Golf Indianapolis Odds Predictions

LIV Golf Indianapolis Intro

It is still the summer of 2025, and yet LIV Golf’s 2025 season is nearing a conclusion.

In the Individual Championship, at least (because the Team Championship concludes next week in Michigan).

Joaquin Niemann sits pretty at the top of the Individual Championship having logged 208 points with his five wins each collecting 40 points each.

Jon Rahm is chasing him hard, and his consistency (he is yet to win) has earned him 196 points.

The LIV data analysts give Niemann a 58.7% chance of lifting the title, and here is why.

If Niemann finishes first or second this week, he wins the championship.

If he is third or fourth, Rahm must win.

If he is fifth to eighth, Rahm needs to finish first or second.

If Niemann finishes ninth to 13th, Rahm needs third or better.

In short, Niemann can make it very difficult for Rahm by getting involved at the top end this week and exerting pressure on the Spaniard.

We’re set for quite the finale, but who to back in the tournament itself?

Let’s take a closer look at the field and the task ahead of them.

The Club at Chatham Hills Notes

  • The course is a par 71 that plays to 7,295 yards

  • It was designed by Pete Dye

  • Dye is also responsible for, among others, TPC Sawgrass, TPC River Highlands, Harbour Town, Whistling Straits, and Kiawah Island

  • Water is in play on 10 holes

  • The putting surfaces feature bent grass

Contenders to Win LIV Golf Indianapolis

Jon Rahm (+450) at bet365

Playoff defeat last week in Chicago maintained so many Jon Rahm themes. On the one hand, it was his 24th completed start on LIV and his 23rd top 10 finish. Put simply, he’s a monster on this circuit. It did, however, make it 11 months since his last win. He’s a three-time winner on Dye tracks, but two saw only two rounds played on a Dye design, and the other was a pairs event.

Bryson DeChambeau (+600) at bet365

A final round 74, when just three shots off the lead, suggested that Bryson DeChambeau was hit by end-of-season fatigue. He had, after all, contended in two of the majors, defended another, and blazed his way to a fast finish in the fourth, the British Open. He has seven top 10s from 20 starts on Dye layouts, but he is yet to win on one.

Joaquin Niemann (+700) at bet365

This has been a brilliant, but also very odd season on LIV for the Chilean. On the one hand, he has won five times. On the other, he has failed to finish better than T20 no less than five times. It’s pure boom or bust, in other words. Indeed, his best finish other than a win was T12! He’s logged two top fives on Dye designs early in his career, but has not repeated it in 10 starts since then.

Ride the Wave with Casey

Last week’s each way tip of Paul Casey worked out as he grabbed a share of fifth place.

Let’s keep our winning chips on him and hope for better this time around.

The Englishman is in good summer form having lost out at LIV Dallas in a playoff and followed that result with T11 at LIV UK and that fifth place last week in LIV Chicago.

He is also a very fine performer on Pete Dye designs.

His highlights include twice coming second at TPC River Highlands, third place at TPC Sawgrass, and fourth at Kiawah Island.

He has finished top five in seven of his last 20 stroke play starts on Dye designs, and he makes great appeal this week.

Back each way with Caesars Sportsbook offering +3300 for five places.

Abraham Is the Ancer

Mexico’s Abraham Ancer is another fan of Pete Dye designs.

In his last 13 starts, his highlights have included second at Harbour Town and PGA West, fourth at River Highlands, fifth at Austin, and eighth at Kiawah Island.

In all, he has 10 top 20s in those last 13 starts, and seven of them were top 10s.

It is also just three stars ago that he was third at LIV Andalucia.

Back him to make another top 10 at +175 with bet365.

Varner Can Get it Done Again

Harold Varner III landed us a nice win last week when easily making the top 20 yet again, and he can go a little better this week.

His fifth place at LIV Chicago was his second in his last four starts - and both of them were in the United States of America.

He’s also the third of our Peye Dye experts for the week.

In the past, he has been second at Harbour Town, seventh at TPC Sawgrass, and eighth at TPC Louisiana.

But in his last five starts on Dye layouts, he has logged sixth back at Sawgrass, third at Harbour Town, and fourth at Louisiana.

He likes a funky Dye design and can take to this new one, too.
