After a week off to allow THE PLAYERS Championship to take center stage, TGL returns with two fascinating semifinals.
The first sees defending champions Atlanta Drive take on Los Angeles Golf Club, with the winner taking on either Boston Common or Jupiter Links, who meet later in the evening.
Atlanta Drive and Los Angeles both finished with identical 3-2-0 records in the regular season while they can’t be split on head-to-heads either.
Atlanta won their Season 1 matchup 6-5 but LA took revenge with a 7-3 victory last month.
For the most significant meeting yet, both sides make one change from that February matchup.
For Atlanta, Chris Gotterup comes in for Lucas Glover while Sahith Theegala replaces Collin Morikawa in the LA line-up after the latter pulled out of THE PLAYERS with a back problem.
Ahead of the semifinals, the outright market shows Boston Common leading the way in the betting at +175.
It’s then +230 Los Angeles Golf Club, +310 Atlanta Drive, +400 Jupiter Links.
For the second-semifinal FanDuel makes Boston Common hot -163 favorites to beat +125 Jupiter Links.
The three-match finals series begins next Monday.
Game two is on Tuesday night with a decider, if necessary, taking place on the same evening.
This is the first of two semifinals on Tuesday

Atlanta Drive GC to win at +110 with FanDuel
| Atlanta Drive GC | Los Angeles Golf Club |
|---|---|
| Player 1 - Patrick Cantlay | Player 1 - Justin Rose |
| Player 2 - Billy Horschel | Player 2 - Sahith Theegala |
| Player 3 - Chris Gotterup | Player 3 - Tommy Fleetwood |
Each match consists of two teams of three playing 15 holes across two sessions on a selection of custom-designed holes
Triples: Holes 1-9 - Each team of three playing in alternate-shot format
Singles: Holes 10-15 - One-vs-one, head-to-head competition for the entire hole. Each player from each team plays a total of two full holes
Modern match play is the scoring system. Each hole is worth 1pt
If the match is tied after 15 holes, Overtime (best-of-three, closest-to-the-pin) kicks in
The Hammer (each team gets three per match) allows teams to increase the points value of a single hole. The flag/towel is thrown down by a team official to signal its use and can be accepted or declined
Patrick Cantlay
Cantlay, as we’ve seen in Ryder Cups, is a real team player and he’s brought that to TGL so far with both his golf and strategic use of the hammer. Ahead of his fourth match of the season for the defending champions, Cantlay has looked a little flat on the PGA TOUR with no top 10s in six starts and 32-MC-27 in his last three. Atlanta hopes the return to TGL will provide a spark.
Billy Horschel
If anyone can fire up Cantlay, it’s Billy-Ho. The Floridian has been one of TGL’s most prominent figures with his antics, energy and excellent golf. A star of the 2025 championship campaign, he secured the winning point in his first two matches of 2026. His record of 11 Singles Holes Won and 19 Singles Points Won are both all-time leading marks in TGL. Out on the PGA TOUR, Horschel has found the going tough but there were some good signs in his 13th at Bay Hill last time.
Chris Gotterup
Gotterup lit up the West Coast Swing after scoring two wins in five starts: the Sony Open in Hawaii and the WM Phoenix Open. He’s also displayed that form in TGL where he ranks 3rd for Average Driving Distance. More importantly, Gotterup ranks T1 in Singles Holes Won (5) and T3 in Singles Points Won (5) for the season. He didn’t play in the earlier defeat to LA so he’ll hope to be a difference maker. As for very recent form, he was 18th at Bay Hill but fell back to 56th at Sawgrass.

Justin Rose
Rose, like Gotterup, is also a winner on the PGA TOUR this season after a dominant seven-shot victory at the Farmers Insurance Open. He also showed up well at Sawgrass last week with 13th at THE PLAYERS. The Englishman is also making a fifth start in TGL this season and ranks in the top six for both Driving Distance and Driving Accuracy. Rose made TGL history in the win over Jupiter Links when making the tournament’s first ever albatross when draining his 227-yard second shot on the Par 5 10th hole (Sterling).
Sahith Theegala
When LA beat Atlanta Drive earlier in Season 2, they fielded the first-ever TGL lineup to feature three of the top five players in the world. That won’t be the case here but Theegala can still be a highly-effective replacement for the injured Collin Morikawa. For starters, he owns an 8-5-3 Singles record. That tally of 8 Singles Holes Won is T2 in TGL all-time. Theegala has already banked three top eights on the PGA TOUR this season, the latest two starts ago at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Tommy Fleetwood
Fleetwood, the World No.3 and defending FedEXCup winner, suits up for a fourth time in this year’s TGL. He showed his iron-play prowess in LA’s win over The Bay when hitting four approach shots inside nine feet. On the PGA TOUR, Fleetwood is hinting at a breakout week after fourth at Pebble, seventh at Riviera and eighth at Sawgrass last time.

It’s easy to think LA is the bet here, especially as they’ve already taken down LA 7-3 this season.
Looking back on that match, LA burst into a 4-0 lead and led 5-2 after Triples play.
But they were helped by Lucas Glover twice finding a penalty area and Atlanta is definitely strengthened by Gotterup replacing the veteran here.
In addition, Theegala is not as reliable as Morikawa so LA doesn’t field the all-star trio that won that match-up.
Atlanta won’t want to give up the title easily and, at the odds, the holders are worth taking a chance on at +110 with FanDuel.
