Max Muncy Anytime Home Run (+425) at Caesars Sportsbook

No one will be happier to see Kevin Gausman on the mound tonight. The slugger is batting .333 with four home runs over 21 at-bats against the veteran starter. One of those home runs came earlier in this series, showing Muncy’s edge over Gausman remains strong.

Muncy has been struggling at the plate during the postseason, but he has gone deep twice in the last eight games. Considering that one of his best games came against Gausman a week ago, we aren’t overly concerned about his .188 postseason batting average.

Gausman was elite during the ALDS and ALCS, but that came to an end on Saturday against this Dodgers team. While he looked sharp for much of the game, he allowed a pair of home runs that would ultimately decide the game. 

The playoffs had not been kind to Gausman heading into 2025. He was 0-2 with a 4.91 ERA over 25 ⅔ innings.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Anytime Home Run (+400) at Caesars Sportsbook

The Blue Jays superstar is on pace to become this year’s World Series MVP. He’s batting .415 with eight home runs over 16 playoff games this postseason. He’s gone deep in his last two games and is riding an impressive ten-game hit streak coming into tonight.

When it comes to Guerrero, we don’t recommend wasting too much time studying his matchup against Yoshinobu Yamamoto and the Dodgers. The starter has gone nine innings in his last two starts this postseason, making this a bad matchup on paper.

The reason we are making this bet is the story. Guerrero is playing at a level rarely seen from any star during the playoffs. He is constantly generating offense while also delivering reliable defense. It has been clear that the 26-year-old is locked in on winning the title. When the Jays went down 1-2 in the series, the slugger went 3-7 at the plate with two home runs and three RBIs over the next two games.

Yamamoto is an elite pitcher, but we believe Guerrero’s current hot streak will make him impossible to stop.
