Run Line | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Yankees | -1.5 (+100) | -160 | Over 10 (-120) |
Athletics | +1.5 (-120) | +135 | Under 10 (+100) |
The A’s were the most improved team to begin 2025. Their record remains above .500, and they are just a couple of games out of the AL West lead.
One big reason for their success has been the lineup, which ranks in the top ten of the league in average and slugging percentage. One big reason for the A’s offense coming alive in 2025 is 23-year-old Jacob Wilson (.357, 3 HR, 21 RBI). The shortstop is one of the hottest hitters in the league, posting a .483 average and 1.097 OPS over his first seven games in May.
The A’s will have their hands full against Yankee starter Carlos Rodon (4-3, 2.96 ERA, 0.92), who is once again pitching like an ace. The Athletics have hit him pretty well over his career. Combine that with the struggles of the back of the Yankees' bullpen.
JP Sears (4-2, 2.93 ERA, 1.00 WHIP) is having a breakout season in 2025. He has been especially sharp over his last four starts, allowing just five runs over 23 innings (1.96 ERA). With New York mired in an offensive slump, expect the start to deliver a surprising gem in the Big Apple.
Run Line | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Rangers | -1.5 (+158) | -105 | Over 7.5 (+100) |
Tigers | +1.5 (-190) | -115 | Under 7.5 (-120) |
Rangers’ starter Jacob deGrom is healthy, once again pitching like a Cy Young winner. The team has been careful with its pitch count, but Texas is finally getting what they paid for.
Unfortunately for deGrom and the Rangers, the bullpen is a mess. The unit is negating an incredible start from the rotation, which features three starters with ERAs under 2.65. The bullpens' struggle will worsen tonight once they are brought into face a Tigers team batting .323 over the last week.
Detroit will also have an ace on the mound in Jack Flaherty (1-4, 3.79 ERA, 1.18 WHIP). He has been hammered hard over his last two starts, ending a fantastic start to the season. As bad as those previous two games were, Flaherty will have an excellent chance to bounce back against a Rangers lineup with a bottom-five OPS this season.

---|---|---|---|
Giants | +1.5 (-225) | -105 | Over 7 (-115) |
Twins | -1.5 (+185) | -115 | Under 7 (-105) |
Logan Webb (4-2, 2.61 ERA, 1.20 WHIP) and Joe Ryan (2-2, 2.93 ERA, 0.90) have been among the best pitchers in the league in 2025, leading some people to hammer the under here. We’re going the other way, and for good reason.
Ryan last faced the Giants in July 2024, and things got ugly. He allowed five runs on six hits and three walks over 5 ⅓ innings, picking up the loss. With San Francisco posting a .281 average over the last week, we see them getting the best of the Twins starter once again.
The Twins have hit Webb fairly well in the past, but didn’t see him last season. We like them to find success tonight because of Webb’s road numbers. He is 2-2 with a 4.18 ERA on the road, with opponents batting an impressive .271 against him. Those numbers are a bit inflated by an ugly outing in San Diego, but it's clear the righty is a different pitcher away from home.
