The Seattle Mariners' run as the hottest-hitting team has ended. The team’s cool down has already led to some losses, and will do so again against the Yankees tonight. Below, we’ll share our favorite bet for that game and two others we are locking on Monday.

Brewers | -1.5 (+130) | -135 | Over 8 (-110) |
Guardians | +1.5 (-155) | +115 | Under 8 (-110) |
After a disappointing 2024 campaign, Freddy Peralta (4-2, 2.18 ERA, 1.04 WHIP) is finally pitching like the ace the club hoped he could be. The righty is coming off one of his most impressive starts, holding a great Cubs lineup scoreless over six innings. Expect a similar effort tonight against a Cleveland team batting .182 against Peralta.
Ben Lively’s (2-2, 3.46 ERA, 1.20 WHIP) numbers aren’t as impressive as Peralta’s, but he has been lights out over his last two starts. He has allowed just one run over 11 innings and five over his previous four starts.
The problem for Cleveland is that Lively isn’t making it deep into games. He has lasted 6+ innings just once over eight starts. That means an unreliable Guardians’ bullpen will have some extra work, which is when the Brew Crew will put this game away.
Keep an eye on former MLB MVP Christian Yelich, who when 2-4 with a home run and a stolen base after switching to a new bat yesterday.

Royals | -1.5 (+162) | +100 | Over 8.5 (+100) |
Astros | +1.5 (-195) | -120 | Under 8.5 (-120) |
Bobby Witt Jr. is getting hot in a big way over the last week. He has a .414 average with two home runs and five stolen bases during that time, once again looking like the MVP-caliber player he was in 2024. With Vinnie Pasquantino and Maikel Garcia also catching fire, this Kansas City lineup is as dangerous as any in the league.
The Royals’ offensive surge is bad news for Astros starter Ryan Gusto (3-1, 2.93 ERA, 1.27 WHIP). The reliever will be making another spot start for the battered Houston rotation. He has been inconsistent in those appearances and will be in over his head against the Royals tonight.
Gusto is starting to take on the team’s top relievers out of the bullpen. This isn’t a deep unit, meaning his absence will take a toll.
Kansas City will have Michael Wacha (2-4, 2.98 ERA, 1.15 WHIP) starting opposite Gusto tonight. The 33-year-old is having a fantastic season and has delivered three consecutive quality starts (1.40 ERA). One came against Houston at the end of April, where Wacha held the Astros scoreless over six innings en route to a win.

Yankees | -1.5 (+122) | -135 | Over 8.5 (-110) |
Mariners | +1.5 (-145) | +115 | Under 8.5 (-110) |
After an incredible run, Seattle’s offensive renaissance has ended. While Julio Rodriguez continues to heat up, the rest of the lineup is struggling. The Mariners’ rotation has some elite arms that can compensate for the lack of offensive production, but that doesn’t include Emerson Hancock (1-1, 5.70 ERA, 1.56 WHIP). The 25-year-old has been able to limit runs over his last few starts, but continues to allow too many baserunners.
While Aaron Judge has cooled off over the last week, Cody Bellinger has a 1.139 OPS during that span. Jasson Dominguez has joined the outfield to help carry the load with Judge slumping, and will continue to do so against Hancock tonight.
To start this one, New York will have Clarke Schmidt (0-1, 4.79 ERA, 1.40 WHIP) on the mound. The 29-year-old missed the start of the season with an injury and was hammered hard in his first two games back. However, he has looked vastly improved over his last two, allowing three runs over 11 innings. While his control is still a bit off, Seattle’s struggling lineup won’t be able to capitalize on that tonight.
