The 2025 NBA Summer League is in full swing, and Day Three promises even more exciting performances from some of the NBA’s rising stars. There are eight games on the Summer League schedule for Saturday, and after two days of play, the tiers of competition are beginning to take shape. As teams begin their second games of the schedule, fans and bettors are getting closer to learning who are the contenders for the NBA Summer League Championship!

The star of the day is Cooper Flagg, who will try to improve on a poor Summer League debut on Day One. Similarly, Kon Knueppel will try to find his range on Day Three after struggling in the Charlotte Hornets’ win over the Jazz on Day Two. Bronny James takes to the court after another strong defensive showing and will aim to find his offense on Day Three. Closing the day is a matchup between the Grizzlies and the Trail Blazers, two teams that strive to earn another win on the second leg of a back-to-back, where Chinese big man Hansen Yang will be the center of attention once again.

Let’s check out the bets!

NBA Summer League Best Bets 2025 07 12

Best NBA Summer League Bets: Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs

When: 4:00 PM EST

How to Watch: ESPN, ESPN+

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Dallas Mavericks +1.0 (-110) -104 Over 172.5 (-110)
San Antonio Spurs -1.0 (-110) -118 Under 172.5 (-114)

Cooper Flagg will try to bounce back from a dreadful NBA Summer League debut, where he shot just 5-of-21 from the field. While a Dylan Harper return is still uncertain, the Spurs looked brilliant in a 41-point blowout victory behind 24 points from David Jones-Garcia. San Antonio’s two-way quality is impressive, but expect the Mavericks to put up a stronger fight in Game 2, especially behind Cooper Flagg.

Best NBA Summer League Bets: Charlotte Hornets vs. Philadelphia 76ers

When: 6:30 PM EST

How to Watch: ESPN2, ESPN+

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Charlotte Hornets -3.5 (-112) -180 Over 177.5 (-110)
Philadelphia 76ers +3.5 (-108) +146 Under 177.5 (-110)

The Charlotte Hornets found victory on Day One despite star rookie Kon Knueppel shooting just 1-of-8 from the field while failing to convert on his five three-point attempts. The Philadelphia 76ers lost by 41 in their first game, putting their lack of continuity and quality on full display. Count on the Hornets to find a comfortable victory on Day Three, especially given their high-octane offense.

Best NBA Summer League Bets: Sacramento Kings vs. Chicago Bulls

When: 8:00 PM EST

How to Watch: NBA TV, ESPN+

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Sacramento Kings -7.5 (-112) -350 Over 171.5 (-112)
Chicago Bulls +7.5 (-108) +265 Under 171.5 (-112)

The Sacramento Kings struggled from the field in their last game but toughed out a win behind strong showings from Mason Jones, Nique Clifford, and Maxime Reynaud. The Bulls struggled in almost every area in their 44-point loss to the Raptors, with the sole bright spot being a 21-point showing from Javon Freeman-Liberty. Count on the Bulls to be more competitive on Saturday, especially behind Matas Buzelis, but the Kings’ strength in the paint gives them the edge.

Best NBA Summer League Bets: Los Angeles Lakers vs. New Orleans Pelicans

When: 8:30 PM EST

How to Watch: ESPN2, ESPN+

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Los Angeles Lakers +1.0 (-112) -105 Over 179.5 (-112)
New Orleans Pelicans -1.0 (-108) -115 Under 179.5 (-112)

Bronny James will take the headlines, but all eyes are on Lakers guard Cole Swider, whose sharpshooting led to a 22-point, 10-rebound double-double with six made threes despite the loss. The Pelicans will try to get in the win column after double-double performances from Yves Missi and Derik Queen in their first match. The Pelicans will have the edge, given their quality in the paint, as well as their defensive quality that should disrupt the Lakers sharpshooters.

Best NBA Summer League Bets: Memphis Grizzlies vs. Portland Trail Blazers

When: 10:30 PM EST

How to Watch: ESPN2, ESPN+

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Memphis Grizzlies -5.5 (-112) -250 Over 182.5 (-110)
Portland Trail Blazers +5.5 (-108) +198 Under 182.5 (-114)

The Memphis Grizzlies lacked cohesion in their first game and will try to earn their first victory after a 16-point night from GG Jackson. The Portland Trail Blazers won by 33 in their first game, as Rayan Rupert led the way with 23 points and nine rebounds. I expect another impressive performance from the Trail Blazers, and star center Hansen Yang, whose two-way balance should help them overcome the Grizzlies.
