Seattle beat San Francisco in Week 18 to earn the top NFC seed
They split the regular season series 1-1
Seattle is favored by just over a touchdown
A pivotal NFC West battle takes place in Seattle as the Seahawks host the 49ers in the NFL Divisional Round. These teams split their regular-season meetings at 1–1, and Seattle enters as a seven-point favorite.
Brock Purdy and Sam Darnold may not be elite quarterbacks, but both have done enough to guide their teams into the postseason. With playmakers on both sides, I’m expecting a high-scoring game, which is why I’ve targeted three player props for this contest.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been one of the most productive wide receivers in the NFL this season, and I expect him to have another big performance for Seattle. The Seahawks are coming off a bye, so Smith-Njigba should be fully healthy and ready to dominate.
He finished the regular season with 119 receptions for 1,793 yards and 10 touchdowns, leading the league in receiving yards while ranking fourth in total catches.
Smith-Njigba has cleared this number in 10 games this season, even though he’s fallen short in his last two. He consistently sees double-digit targets, giving him plenty of opportunity to surpass this line against a vulnerable San Francisco secondary.
The 49ers rank 22nd in the league against the pass, and Sam Darnold should look to exploit that matchup. Having an elite target like Smith-Njigba is a game-changer, and he should once again be heavily involved on Saturday.

Seattle has one of the better running back duos in the league, but Kenneth Walker has clearly established himself as the lead back. He finished the season with 221 carries for 1,027 yards and five touchdowns.
The Seahawks will want to establish the run early against a 49ers defense that allows 109.6 rushing yards per game. This sets up as an excellent spot to back Walker, who is peaking at the right time.
In his last matchup against San Francisco, Walker rushed for 97 yards on 16 carries. I expect a similar approach here, as Seattle’s success depends heavily on controlling the ground game.
Walker cleared this line nine times during the season, and his role continues to grow. While Zach Charbonnet remains involved, Walker should once again handle the bulk of the workload in this spot.

For my final prop, I’m backing one of the most reliable touchdown scorers in the NFL. Christian McCaffrey found the end zone 19 times this season, with nine of those touchdowns coming through the air.
McCaffrey has been more involved in the passing game than at any point in his career, which adds even more value to his anytime touchdown prop. His versatility allows him to score both on the ground and as a receiver.
It’s clear that Brock Purdy looks to McCaffrey whenever the 49ers reach the red zone, as he remains one of the best drive finishers in football. McCaffrey has scored six touchdowns over his last five games, including two last week against Philadelphia.
If San Francisco is going to keep this game close, McCaffrey will need to be a focal point of the game plan, especially in high-leverage situations.
