NFL Preseason Week 1 Best Bet: Chiefs vs Cardinals - Over 38.5 (-110) at BetMGM

Most Week 1 preseason games are low-scoring because the teams aren’t playing their starters, especially their starting quarterbacks. While that will be the case in this game, both teams have quality backups that will be able to move the ball against second and third-string defensive players. The Chiefs have Gardner Minshew and Bailey Zappe as their backups this season. Minshew, in particular, has enjoyed some success as a starter. The Chiefs also have a reasonable amount of depth at wide receiver, with players desperate to earn a spot on the roster to play with Patrick Mahomes.

Meanwhile, Jacoby Brissett and Clayton Tune will get the snaps at quarterback for Arizona, with Kyler Murray sitting out. Brissett has a long track record in the NFL and should have no problem facing a second-string defense.
