The Lions are 8-5 in third place in the NFC North
Los Angeles is the top seed in the NFC
The Rams are 5.5-point favorites
Lions vs Rams has the potential to be the game of the year in the NFL because of each team’s offensive explosiveness. Detroit needs a win more than the Rams do, but Los Angeles will have home-field advantage in this contest.
This game features one of the highest totals of the football season, so it’s a great game to bet on player props. We should see plenty of offense in this contest, setting up a few appealing player props at Fanatics Sportsbook.

Jameson Williams has been playing his best football of the season, and this is another excellent spot for him to perform. He has cleared this number in four of his last five games, and with the way Detroit is using him, 66 receiving yards feels very attainable.
Sean McVay is too bright to let Amon-Ra St. Brown dictate the entire passing game, which means Williams should see plenty of favorable matchups down the field. Jared Goff has consistently looked his way in vertical concepts, and Williams’ speed makes him one of the most dangerous deep threats in the NFL.
Williams has 45 receptions for 802 yards and six touchdowns. His blend of vertical explosiveness and screen-game production makes him a perfect fit for this matchup.
Detroit loves getting him involved in motion and short-area touches, and he regularly turns those into chunk gains.
With Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery likely setting the tone early on the ground, the play-action game should open wide throwing lanes for Goff.
That creates even more opportunities for Williams to break loose. Detroit’s other weapons often overshadow him, but he could end up being the difference maker on Sunday.

Jared Goff continues to be one of the most dependable passing quarterbacks in the league, and his yardage prop is once again at a playable number. He has gone over this total in five straight games, and Detroit’s offensive trust in him makes it likely he does it again.
Goff has thrown for 3,334 yards with 26 touchdowns and just five interceptions this season. His 26 passing scores rank second in the NFL, and his efficiency remains elite thanks to the depth of weapons on the offense.
With St. Brown, Williams, Gibbs, Montgomery, and Sam LaPorta all involved, Goff consistently spreads the ball around and forces defenses into mismatches. This total also feels low considering he’s coming off a 309-yard outing against Dallas last week.
Detroit’s tempo, creativity, and willingness to attack downfield all work in our favor here. If the Lions stay aggressive early, Goff should have no issue exploiting the Rams’ secondary and cashing this prop.

With my last prop of this game, I’m going with Davante Adams to score a touchdown. He leads the league in touchdowns with 14 and has almost scored in every game this season.
Matthew Stafford has trusted Adams in the red zone this season, as they have scored multiple one-yard touchdowns. Adams is one of the best possession receivers in NFL history, and he’s been taking advantage of these opportunities.
Puka Nacua and Adams are one of the best wide receiver duos in the league, and they both have had spectacular seasons. Adams has 56 receptions for 718 yards in 2025.
The Rams have focused on getting Nacua the ball while driving the football, but everyone knows that Adams is getting the ball in the red zone. He has six touchdowns in the last five games, and he didn’t score last week, so he’s due for one against Detroit.
