Bengals’ DE Trey Hendrickson is questionable with a hip injury
The Steelers have posted 17 sacks, 22 TFLs, 29 PDs, and 38 QB hits over the last three games
The Bengals are allowing the fifth-most rushing yards per game (135.7)
The Cincinnati Bengals were better with Joe Flacco under center, but still lost their fourth game of the season last week. Now, they’ll be looking to save their season against a red-hot AFC North rival in the Pittsburgh Steelers. Does this battered Bengals team have what it takes to get a critical win, or will fans watch them sink further into irrelevance?

Bookmakers set this line way too low. While Joe Flacco gave this offense a small boost, it barely addresses one of the team’s many problems. Those include running back Chase Brown struggling badly, and now defensive end Trey Hendrickson is in danger of missing the game with a hip injury. We don’t believe the pass rusher will play this week, especially given his desire to be moved out of Cincinnati.
The Steelers have been trending in the opposite direction, starting with a 4-1 record. Aaron Rodgers has been a perfect fit with DK Metcalf, allowing the offense to find far more success than they did last season.
Pittsburgh’s defense has been the real story of the 2025 season. After allowing 63 over the first two weeks, they have allowed just 44 over their last three. The pass rush has led the rebound, posting 17 sacks, 22 TFLs, 29 PDs, and 38 QB hits during that three-game span. Given that the Bengals have a weak offensive line and no talent at quarterback, we expect the Steelers' defense to roll once again on Thursday Night Football.

The former Seahawks star has taken off over the last two weeks. He and Aaron Rodgers have connected well, leading to him going for 221 receiving yards and two touchdowns over the last two weeks.
Metcalf is going to be facing one of the NFL’s worst pass defenses on Thursday. The Bengals are allowing the second-most passing yards (258.5) in the league. While their six interceptions are tied for the fourth-highest, some of that can be attributed to the pressure brought by Hendrickson. If he is out of the game due to injury, it will allow Rodgers more time to work, which will lead to a massive day.

Once the Steelers quickly build a big lead, they will lean on Jaylen Warren to control the tempo of the game. The 26-year-old is an electric runner and is coming off a game against the Browns where he rushed 11 times for 52 yards. While that is below this total, it was also against a great Browns run defense.
Warren will be facing a far easier test this week against the Bengals, who are allowing the fifth-most rushing yards per game (135.7). With Hendrickson dealing with an injury, the defensive front will be shorthanded and without their star.
AFC North matchups can be tricky, but we believe this lopsided matchup will negate that on Thursday.
