WNBA Player Props and Best Bets: Napheesa Collier and Three-Point Shooters to Have Great Nights

The WNBA has some intriguing games tonight: Indiana is going for three in a row without Caitlin Clark vs. a solid Phoenix team. Dallas is coming off a big win over the Liberty, who will probably not have Breanna Stewart vs. Minnesota. It’s going to be an excellent night for WNBA Player Props, that’s for sure.

None of these games are easy wins, which means every team will need their star players to show up and do what they do. With that in mind, let’s take a look at our picks for tonight.

Best WNBA Prop Bets July 30

Phoenix Mercury vs. Indiana Fever

Kelsey Mitchell, OVER 19.5 Points at -110

  • Kelsey Mitchell, OVER 2.5 Made Threes at +104

It appears that the Fever have decided they are going to rely on Kelsey Mitchell with Caitlin Clark sidelined. How do I know that? Because in the team’s three games since the All-Star break, Mitchell has taken 21, 24, and 19 shots and scored 29, 21, and 35 points.

Part of the reason why she’s scoring 20+ a game is her three-point shooting: 3-9, 3-9, and 7-10.  Phoenix is neither bad nor great on the perimeter. Consequently, I like her to go OVER 2.5 made threes. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it…

Assuming she makes at least three of them, she’ll score more than 19.5 points.

Satou Sabally, OVER 1.5 Made Threes at -1.5

  • Kahleah Copper, OVER 1.5 Made Threes at +100

For the season, the Fever are allowing teams to hit 31.5% of three-point attempts (third in the league). However, for July, they’ve allowed a league-worst 37.5%. So, expect Sabally and Copper to take their shots and probably hit at least two of them.

But if you just want to go with one, roll with Copper. While she didn’t make one vs. Washington, she made at least two in her last seven games. Sabally did not make one in her last two games but did in four of the previous five.

Atlanta Dream vs. Dallas Wings

Britney Griner, UNDER 18.5 Pts + Reb -130

Her playing time went back down to 20 minutes her last time out, down from 30 in the game prior. Her shot attempts were sliced in half, and she only made three buckets. Against Alyssa Thomas in the paint, she’s going to have a hard time generating stats of any kind.

She may still get 10-12 points, but don’t bank on her pulling down too many boards vs. Thomas.

Paige Bueckers, UNDER 25.5 Pts + Reb + Ast at -118

Bueckers is averaging 18.2 points, four rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game; she is developing into the player she was expected to be. But she is not quite there yet.

She’ll have good days, like she did her last time out vs. New York (20/6/4), but more often than not, she’ll have days that aren’t bad, but not exceptional (i.e., July 25 vs. Golden State she had 17/1/6 or July 22 vs. Seattle she had 14/4/6).

She had 12/5/4 vs. Atlanta on June 24; look for her to have a similar day tonight.

New York Liberty vs. Minnesota Lynx

Napheesa Collier, OVER 21.5 Points at -106

  • Napheesa Collier, OVER 33.5 Pts + Reb + Ast at -122

  • Napheesa Collier to record a double-double at +135

New York is not a bad defensive team, but they aren’t a great one either—especially with Breanna Stewart likely out of the lineup.  But with the chance to take a measure of revenge against the team that beat hers in the WNBA Finals last year, Collier will have a day.

She’s only recorded five double-doubles this season, but against a New York team minus Stewart and with revenge in mind, I love her chances of getting one here.
