WNBA Player Props and Best Bets: Markets for Breanna Stewart, Napheesa Collier, Angel Reese

The WNBA is giving us a trio of games tonight, each with the potential to impact the playoff picture. Such games are bound to be a lot of fun to watch and even more fun to bet on, especially the WNBA Player Props for some of the game’s stars seeing action tonight.

Here are some of our favorite prop bets from tonight’s games.

Washington Mystics vs. New York Liberty

Breanna Stewart, OVER 14.5 Points (-118) at FanDuel

Prior to her early exit vs. the Sparks on July 26, she went OVER this TOTAL in just five of eight games played in July.  If she plays 30+ minutes, she absolutely goes OVER this TOTAL. If she doesn’t, it’s not an absolute, but you have to think they want her to get back in the groove.

So, she’ll shoot early and often. Against a weak defense like Washington’s (83.2 points per game allowed in Aug.), she should go OVER 14.5 even if she only gets 20 minutes again.

Kiki Iriafen, UNDER 23.5 Pts + Reb (-106) at FanDuel

Iriafen finished UNDER this TOTAL in three of her last four games but finished OVER it in five of her last eight. Both prior games against New York came early in the season; she finished OVER this TOTAL in the last one (June 5, 26).

New York’s defense has been a little mediocre of late, with opponents averaging 37 rebounds per game (league-high) and scoring 81.8 points per game. But with Stewart back, expect a better effort on defense from the Liberty, especially at home.

Seattle Storm vs. Minnesota Lynx

Napheesa Collier, OVER 21.5 Points (-114) at FanDuel

• To Score 25+ Points (+182) at FanDuel

Collier returned to action last Sunday and proceeded to drop 32 points and nine rebounds on the Indiana Fever. With the postseason on deck, she’ll likely be focused on getting back into playing shape after her layoff, which means we’ll see her ‘A’ game tonight against Seattle.

Earlier in the season, she scored 16 and 25 vs. the Storm, but Seattle has not been playing good defense lately (86.2 points per game allowed in August). With how the Storm has been struggling, a 30+ point night from Collier might be the nail in the coffin for their season.

At +540, a 30+ point night certainly has value. But if it’s too much of a risk for you, a 25+ point night has value as well at +182.

Chicago Sky vs. Phoenix Mercury

Angel Reese, UNDER 29.5 Pts + Reb + Ast (-112) at FanDuel

• To Record A Double Double (-200) at FanDuel

Reese has picked up where she left off since her return from the injured list a few games ago with a double-double in three straight games (21/10, 11/11, and 10/17). However, Phoenix has been playing great defense this month. 

They’ve held teams to 78.3 points per game allowed (third best), 19.2 assists per game allowed (third best), and the lowest three-point percentage allowed (27.6%). She’ll still get 10 points and 10 rebounds, but she may top out at those numbers.

Alyssa Thomas, OVER 35.5 Pts + Reb + Ast (-112) at FanDuel

• To Record a Triple Double (+200) at FanDuel

Thomas has been playing like someone who wants to steal the MVP away from Napheesa Collier, and might do just that if she can keep it up. She recorded a triple-double in each of her last two games, bringing her season total to seven.

Against a struggling Chicago team just looking to finish the season, it would not be shocking to see her record No. 8. Of course, if she does, Thomas will almost certainly go OVER this TOTAL.
