It’s NFL Sunday, but it’s also the first Sunday of the 2025-26 NBA season, and I’ve got a batch of player prop picks to share.
The Oklahoma City Thunder jumped out to a quick 3-0 start to their season as both Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander broke 30 points in Saturday’s win over the Atlanta Hawks. Tyrese Maxey also stayed hot, putting up 28 points, nine assists, and six rebounds in a win over the revamped Charlotte Hornets.
As we get ready to close out the weekend, these are my top five NBA player prop bets for Sunday.
Let’s take a look at the top NBA betting picks for Oct. 26.

Reaves went over in both games to start the season, recording five and seven rebounds while playing at least 36 minutes per game in both contests. He also appears to have entered a new tier yet again thanks to the increase in available opportunities without LeBron James on the floor, having averaged 25.5 points, 10.0 assists, and 6.0 rebounds to start the year.
Despite having Domantas Sabonis and Russell Westbrook at their disposal, the Sacramento Kings are dead last in the NBA in rebound rate. Reaves will see plenty of minutes, and he usually has his nose around the ball, which shouldn’t make it too difficult for him to get over a fairly low line.

Duren, still only 21, finds himself in a precarious position. He can be a productive and efficient player, but he only played 12 minutes in his last game against the Houston Rockets, who often have two centers on the court at the same time. He only scored six points against the Rockets after dropping 15 in the opener.
Duren’s limitations as a player force him to camp the inside, which can have a negative effect on the spacing and driving lanes for players such as Ausar Thompson and Cade Cunningham. With a date against the Celtics on the horizon, it might not be too early to sell Duren stock.

Mobley has gone under this line in seven of eight regular-season matchups with Giannis Antetokounmpo, who now also has Myles Turner at his side to help him protect the basket. That, combined with Mobley’s inconsistent desire to operate as a scorer, makes him a risk to all of the over bettors that are out there.
The 24-year-old has 22 points against the New York Knicks to start his season, but he also had just 13 points against the Brooklyn Nets his last time out. He also began his season by shooting a disappointing 43.3 percent from the field despite making 41.7 percent of his three-point attempts.

DiVincenzo split the over/under in two games to start the season, making one of three long-rangers on Wednesday and three of seven on Friday. He made 2.8 triples per game on 39.7 percent shooting last year and is at two per game on 40 percent shooting to start the new season.
Lots of DiVinzeno’s looks at the basket are quick-trigger shots, or they are from a couple of steps beyond the three-point line, meaning they are difficult attempts. The Indiana Pacers also pride themselves on locking down their opponents from deep, which should make it harder for him to go over.

Alright, Wemby has looked sensational to start the year. He scored 40 points on 71.4 percent shooting in the opener and then put up 29 points on 56.5 percent shooting in a win over the New Orleans Pelicans, although he fouled out of that game, which went to overtime.
As terrific as the 7-foot-5 Frenchman is, consistently scoring 30 points per game means he will have to have entered a different echelon as a player. He seems more than capable of doing that, but it just hasn’t happened yet, and there are other mouths to feed on the Spurs to boot.
