The NBA on Halloween card is loaded with matchups from coast-to-coast, and I’ve made my picks for the best player prop bets of the day.
Victor Wembaynama continued his scorching-hot start to the season with 27 points, 28 rebounds, six assists, and five blocks as the San Antonio Spurs improved to 5-0 with a win over the Miami Heat last night. Ryan Rollins also had a career-defining night as the Milwaukee Bucks sans Giannis Antetokounmpo took down the Golden State Warriors, 120-110.
With a total of eight games, there’s no shortage of betting opportunities on Friday night.
Here are my top NBA player prop picks for Halloween.

The former MVP started the year by playing 20 minutes in back-to-back contests. He got up to 23 in Tuesday’s overtime win against the Washington Wizards and scored at least 20 points in consecutive outings.
Ironically, Embiid’s only time going under this line was when he scored just four points in the Philadelphia 76ers’ season opener against the Boston Celtics. However, the Celtics do not defend the interior well, and Embiid is in a better rhythm and getting a steadily increasing amount of playing time.

A former champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, the new member of the Memphis Grizzlies will face his old squad, having gone over this line in three of five games. He also scored 11 points despite only playing 11 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Phoenix Suns, and he has a favorable matchup on Friday.
The Lakers are dealing with multiple injuries that have forced them to play guys who aren’t normally in their rotation, and nearly all of whom have defensive limitations. The Lakers are also 25th in three-pointers allowed per game and 27th in three-point percentage allowed, which means that Caldwell-Pope should get several open opportunities at the basket.

Bridges has gotten off to a fantastic start, averaging 18.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists on 54/47/92 shooting splits. He also went over this line in three of four games, including his last two games, in which he scored at least 20 points.
While the New York Knicks’ swingman has been on fire, the Chicago Bulls are sixth in points allowed per game and third in defensive rating. They have length on the perimeter capable of bothering Bridges, and they’ve smothered their opponents on the perimeter, allowing them to make just 25.9 percent of their three-point attempts.

Jokic posted triple-doubles in all four games up to this point, but he also went under this line in each of those games. The three-time MVP has made it clear that he doesn’t feel the need to score to dominate games, and he has more help from his teammates than he’s had in years.
The Portland Trail Blazers are sixth in defensive rating and have a great interior defender, Donovan Clingan, to match up with Jokic. Nobody can truly stop Jokic if he decides that he wants to become a full-time scorer, but he hasn’t demonstrated that type of aggressiveness thus far.

Johnson hasn’t been overly prolific on the glass this season, having averaged 7.0 boards per game and gone under this line all four times of asking. However, the 6-foot-8 high-flyer averaged 10.0 per game last year and 8.7 the year before and has more than enough in the tank to cash the over.
The Atlanta Hawks are preparing to take on the Indiana Pacers, whose starting center is 6-foot-8, and who allow the second-most rebounds per game. Johnson is still getting his 30.5 minutes per night and won’t get an easier matchup than this all year.
