Coming off a 4-1 day with yesterday’s picks, there are six matchups from coast-to-coast to find the best betting opportunities on Saturday. The biggest winner yesterday was Josh Giddey, who put up 32 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists as the Chicago Bulls beat the New York Knicks to improve to 5-0 on the year.

Tonight’s matchups include the Dallas Mavericks facing the Detroit Pistons and the Minnesota Timberwolves visiting the Charlotte Hornets, among others.

Russell Westbrook under 12.5 points (-125) at FanDuel sportsbook

The 36-year-old Westbrook has fallen a long distance from his MVP-level self. He averaged 11.8 points per game but went under this line in three of five, and he made four threes in both games in which he went over. That is highly unsustainable for a player who averaged 1.1 made threes on 30.6 percent shooting for his career.

The Milwaukee Bucks don’t have a perfect roster and are still working to find their best, but they rank ninth in defensive rating and 10th in points allowed per game. Westbrook doesn’t get plays called for him and has a clear path to the under on Saturday.

Don’t look now, but the Minnesota Timberwolves are in the bottom five in the NBA in defensive rating. Even scarier, the Charlotte Hornets are fourth in offensive rating, despite starting three rookies next to LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges during their last outing.

Kneuppel only scored five points on 33.3 percent shooting in his last game, but he averaged 13.8 points on 50/50/50 shooting splits this season—perfectly balanced. The Hornets create quality shots, and Kneuppel is an excellent shooter and mover without the ball in his hands.

Jonathan Kuminga over 6.5 rebounds (+118) at FanDuel sportsbook

Kuminga averaged 7.5 rebounds per game in 30.8 minutes per night for the Golden State Warriors. He also went over this line in four of six games this season and just had eight boards in 34 minutes against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.

The Indiana Pacers have a very small lineup, which is a major contributor to them allowing the second-most rebounds per game. They also like to run with the ball and push the pace, which increases the amount of possessions and rebounding opportunities for Kuminga.

Alperen Sengun under 6.5 assists (-144) at FanDuel sportsbook

Sengun is the focal point of the Rockets’ offense and averaged 7.3 assists per game while going over this line in three of four contests. However, he and his teammates are about to face the Boston Celtics, who rank first in field goal percentage allowed and second in assists allowed per game.

Houston leads the NBA in offensive rating, but that seems unlikely to continue. Boston also plays at one of the slowest paces in the league while having an outstanding defense, all of which should make it difficult for the Turkish big man to get over this line.

The young Washington Wizards have certainly had flashes, but they are 21st in made threes allowed per game and 28th in defensive rating, which gives the sharp-shooting Bane a favorable matchup. Both teams also rank in the top 10 in the league in pace of play, ensuring there will be plenty of possessions.

Bane hasn’t had the start he would’ve hoped for from downtown, only making 25 percent of his 4.7 attempts per game. However, he’s a career 40.8 percent shooter from long range and should be afforded extra space due to the attention that will be drawn by his teammates, Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner.
