NBA Player Props and Best Bets: Giannis Antetokounmpo & More Picks for Monday, November 3

There’s a loaded slate of NBA action on Monday, and I’m here to share my favorite player prop picks from the action. 

Donovan Mitchell dropped 37 points to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers over the Atlanta Hawks, while Devin Booker’s 28 points and 13 assists helped the Phoenix Suns hand the San Antonio Spurs their first loss of the season.

Monday’s schedule is headlined by a matchup between new rivals, the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers, albeit without Damian Lillard and Tyrese Haliburton. The Dallas Mavericks will also face the Houston Rockets in an in-state showdown between two exciting Western Conference teams.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 11.5 Rebounds (-138) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Antetokounmpo has been an absolute monster against the Pacers in recent seasons, averaging 36.3 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game since the start of 2023. He went under this line in back-to-back contests, but he also had at least 14 boards in the first three games of the season.

The Pacers don’t start a player taller than 6-foot-8 and surrendered the most rebounds per game to their opponents. It seems highly improbable that they will dig in and find their strength on the glass against a tall opponent with one of the best rebounders in the world.

Nikola Jokic Over 12.5 Rebounds (+106) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Jokic, similarly, has been incredible in recent matchups with the Sacramento Kings and Domantas Sabonis. He averaged 25.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 10.9 assists per game since the start of 2023 and had at least 14 boards in three of their last four head-to-head matchups.

The Joker is coming off a 14-rebound performance against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, and he averaged a league-high 14.4 rebounds per game. He also cleared the over in four of five games this season and has more license to expend his energy on the glass now that his supporting cast has been improved.

Ja Morant Over 22.5 Points (-122) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Morant only scored eight points against the Los Angeles Lakers the last time he was on the court, which led to him making unwise comments about his coaches. He was then suspended for one game for conduct detrimental to the team, setting the stage for his return on Monday evening.

Although Morant went under in four of six games and only averaged 20.8 points per game, he’s shooting an uncharacteristic 40.6 percent from the field. With a regression to the mean and added motivation from his suspension, I believe that he’s in for a strong night as a scorer.

Tre Johnson Over 10.5 Points (-102) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Johnson had nights of 16, 17, and 16 points to open his NBA career before being held to 10 or fewer in three straight. However, he’s still playing 26.8 minutes per night and posted 45/39/100 shooting splits, which means he’s in a strong position to deliver an over on Monday night.

The Washington Wizards are playing the New York Knicks, who are on the second night of a back-to-back. The Knicks are second-to-last in three-point percentage allowed (39.9), which plays to the strength of Johnson, who attempts 6.6 three-pointers per night.

Deandre Ayton Over 12.5 Points (-132) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Lakers have done a terrific job of feeding their big men, whether that be Ayton or, recently, Jaxson Hayes. Ayton scored at least 15 points in four straight games following his Lakers debut and had nine points in 17 minutes before he was banged up against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.

The Trail Blazers have a strong defense and a terrific interior defender in center Donovan Clingan, but Ayton’s scoring is mostly fed to him. There’s no answer to Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves heading downhill, and I believe Ayton will get enough easy looks to cash this NBA player prop.
