NBA Player Props and Best Bets: Anthony Edwards, Cooper Flagg & More Picks

Hump Day has arrived, and I’ve made my picks for the best NBA player prop bets during the midweek action.

Tyrese Maxey led the day in scoring with 39 points, although the Chicago Bulls made a furious comeback in the second half to take down the Philadelphia 76ers thanks to Nikola Vucevic’s game-winning shot. Stephen Curry also led the Golden State Warriors past Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns, despite the latter pouring in 38 points.

Coming off of a 4-1 day on Tuesday, Wednesday is highlighted by the Minnesota Timberwolves matching up with the New York Knicks, as well as Victor Wembanyama leading the San Antonio Spurs into a star-studded showdown against Luka Doncic’s Los Angeles Lakers.

Here are my top five NBA player prop picks for Wednesday.

Best NBA Prop Bets Today 2025 11 05 Timberwolves Anthony Edwards

Alex Sarr Under 14.5 Points (-120) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Sarr is taking the second-year step to success and averaged 17.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game on 52.7 percent shooting… but despite his recent success as a scorer, I expect him to take a step back against the Boston Celtics.

Sarr went under this line in two of his last three games, and he’s about to face a team that still prides itself on defense, regardless of their injuries and roster turnover. The C’s are 14th in defensive rating but also third in points allowed per game due to their slow pace of play, and that should help cause Sarr to stay under this line.

Jake LaRavia Over 4.5 Rebounds (+106) at FanDuel Sportsbook

LaRavia has been a real bright spot for the Lakers, particularly during the absences of Doncic and Austin Reaves. The 24-year-old Wake Forest product played at least 35 minutes in back-to-back games and beat this line in six straight games, while also having 25- and 27-point scoring outbursts.

The Lakers are going to need to rebound the ball against Wembanyama, and LaRavia has shown more of a willingness to get his nose dirty on the glass than other players at his position, for example, Rui Hachimura. I think he’ll get close to 30 minutes of action tonight, which will help him grab at least five boards.

Cooper Flagg Over 16.5 Points (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Okay, so the 18-year-old didn’t immediately take the NBA by storm—cut him a break. Flagg has shown his potential on both sides of the court, and he has a golden opportunity to get into the good graces of bettors everywhere by delivering a high-scoring performance against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Although Flagg’s efficiency hasn’t been there thus far – shooting just 38.8 percent from the field and 30.8 percent from three – he hasn’t been afraid of shooting, and there’s more clarity with his role with Anthony Davis (unfortunately) on the sideline. The Pelicans are also down Zion Williamson and allowed the third-most points per game to their opponents.

Draymond Green Under 6.5 Rebounds (-132) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Green, the de facto center for the Warriors, is about to play the second night of a back-to-back at 35 years old. He’s also facing a Sacramento Kings squad that doesn’t have good numbers as a team on the boards, although Domantas Sabonis is still one of the best rebounders in the Association.

Green was held to just four rebounds in two of his three matchups with the Kings last season, and he went under this line in four of his last six games. I expect the Warriors to win this game, but not by dominating the glass, particularly in the restricted area.

Anthony Edwards Under 4.5 Rebounds (+118) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Edwards only appeared in three games this season, and one of those only lasted for three minutes before he left with a hamstring strain. He returns to action for the first time since that moment with his Timberwolves prepared to take on the Knicks in a cross-conference showdown.

The Knicks rank fifth in rebounds allowed per game, and Edwards has games of seven, four, and one (the injury game) rebounds on his season resume. New York’s length on the wings and raw size on the interior, combined with Edwards likely not being as aggressive as possible considering he’s only just returning, lead me to conclude he will go under on Wednesday.
