The final day of the work week has arrived, and it’s time to talk about the best NBA player prop picks for Friday.
The Phoenix Suns won the standalone game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday behind 29 points from Jalen Green in his team debut, while Ivica Zubac was the only Clippers starter to eclipse 10 points.
Friday has a much better schedule, including an in-state showdown between the Houston Rockets and the San Antonio Spurs, as well as Golden State Warriors facing the Denver Nuggets at Mile High.
Here are my top five NBA player prop picks for Friday, Nov. 7.

Banchero has flown under the radar this season amid the arrival of Desmond Bane, but he’s still the leader of the Orlando Magic. He averaged 23.1 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game and went over this line in four of his last five games despite starting the year with three straight one-assist outings.
The Magic are about to face the Boston Celtics, who play at a slow pace and allowed the sixth-fewest assists per game. With that said, Banchero often dominates touches in a condensed halfcourt, and he’s proven that he has the ability to playmake in those situations.

Wemby loves to get up for priority matchups, particularly in those against other stars at his position. While Alperen Sengun and the Rockets have done a nice job of defending him in recent years, I expect Wemby to pull one back in his favor on Friday night.
The Spurs lost their last two outings, during which the 7-foot-4 Frenchman was held to 14 points per game on 32.1 percent shooting. He’s much better than what he showed in those games, and the motivation of playing against Sengun and the Rockets should lead to him taking more than enough shots to get over this line.

With every passing day, it seems like Morant is approaching the end of his time with the Memphis Grizzlies. He’s reportedly extremely frustrated with the coaching staff, and he also looks totally out of place on the court these days.
Despite the optics of the situation, Morant averaged 20 points per game while only shooting 38.3 percent from the floor. He can do much, much better than that, and he’s facing a Dallas Mavericks squad that, despite their size, allowed more points in the paint than any team in the sport. Morant will have the space he needs to operate, and he can make more than 38 percent of his tries.

The Joker faced the Warriors in his first game of the season, and he only managed 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists on 34.8 percent shooting in an overtime loss. He’s averaged just 24.1 points per game this season, but he also scored at least 33 in back-to-back games.
Jokic dominated the Warriors last year, scoring 33 and 38 points in their head-to-head matchups. The Dubs are 10th in points allowed per game, but they don’t have anyone on their roster that is capable of contending with the size and skill of Jokic, who was as aggressive as he could be as a scorer his last two times on the floor.

Vucevic has quietly had a great start to the year on offense, averaging 19.3 points on 58.4 percent shooting from the floor and 48.4 percent from downtown. Despite his efficiency, he went under this line in four of seven games and only went 1-5 from downtown the last time he was on the court.
The Milwaukee Bucks don’t have a great defense, but they are above league average in three-point percentage allowed (35.3 - 12th) and three-pointers allowed per game (12.7 - 13th). They also have interior players, such as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Myles Turner, who are comfortable following Vucevic out beyond the perimeter, which gives him a tougher matchup.
