NBA Player Props and Best Bets: Luka Doncic, Jaylen Brown & More Picks for Sunday, Nov. 30

It’s everyone’s favorite day of the week, and I’m back to share my favorite NBA player prop bets for Sunday.

Jaylen Brown outdueled Anthony Edwards with 41 points, seven assists, and six rebounds, but the Minnesota Timberwolves walked away with the victory. Cooper Flagg also became the youngest player in NBA history to score 35 points as he and the Dallas Mavericks logged a victory against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Sunday’s schedule features a standout matchup between the New York Knicks and the Toronto Raptors, before the San Antonio Spurs visit the Timberwolves later in the evening.

Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for Sunday, Nov. 30.

Best NBA Prop Bets Today November 30

Reed Sheppard over 14.5 points (-102) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Sheppard dropped a career-defining performance against the Golden State Warriors his last time on the floor, going for 31 points in a win without Kevin Durant. As magnificent as Sheppard was, he’s also gone over this line in six of his last nine games, meaning that wasn’t a standalone performance.

The Utah Jazz allowed the most points per game in the entire NBA, giving Sheppard and his teammates a favorable matchup. He’ll get fewer opportunities with Durant back in the lineup, but he’ll be as confident as ever and should still play a decent number of minutes.

Jalen Johnson under 10.5 rebounds (-136) at FanDuel Sportsbook

I’m one of the biggest fans of Johnson outside of the Atlanta Hawks’ fanbase, but I also recognize the reality of his situation. With Trae Young’s injury, Johnson is being asked to carry more and more of the offensive burden, as both a scorer and facilitator, and that could eventually cause his rebounding to suffer.

Johnson is a highly capable glass-cleaner, but he went under this line in two of his last three and in eight of his last 12 games. The Philadelphia 76ers are just about average on the glass, but I think they’ll do enough to hold Johnson under this line.

Luka Doncic under 8.5 assists (+100) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Okay, so Doncic is easily putting up MVP numbers for a Los Angeles Lakers team that is sitting in second in the Western Conference standings. He averaged 9.4 assists per game, second in the league, and went over this line in three of his last four games, including the 11 assists he had on Friday night.

The Lakers are favored by more than 15 points against the New Orleans Pelicans, and I think a blowout could lead to Doncic playing fewer minutes than he usually does, thus hurting his chances for assists. The Pelicans also can’t afford to blitz him because of their poor help defense, which could lead to him being a scorer more than a facilitator.

Jaylen Brown under 4.5 assists (-102) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Brown had a terrific game last night, despite the loss, capped off by his 41 points against the Timberwolves. He’s scored at least 33 points in three straight games and at least 26 in six straight, all while posting relatively efficient numbers from the field.

Brown’s confidence (and output) as a scorer leads me to believe that he’ll be aggressive on Sunday, when he and his teammates take on a known challenger, the Cleveland Cavaliers. He went over this assists line in three straight but also went under in three straight just before that, and the Cavs’ reputation leads me to believe that passing will be an afterthought for Brown.

De’Aaron Fox over 23.5 points (-128) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Fox is still one of the quickest players in the league, and that could spell trouble for a Timberwolves squad that just played a tough game against the Celtics. Minnesota is also sixth in points allowed per game, but all that’s done is set a low line for a player capable of going well beyond it.

Up until he dropped just 15 points in his last outing, Fox had beaten this line in six straight games. Victor Wembanyama is still out with a calf problem, so it’s easy to imagine who will dominate the touches for the Spurs’ offense.
