There’s no need to fight a bad case of the Mondays, as we’re on to bigger and better on Tuesday—that includes the evening action on the hardwood, which is why I’m bringing you my best NBA player prop bets for the action.
Anthony Davis went for 32 points and 13 rebounds in the Dallas Mavericks’ unexpected win against the Denver Nuggets, while Desmond Bane poured in 37 points and six rebounds to lead the Orlando Magic’s comeback victory over the Chicago Bulls.
Tuesday’s slate features a matchup between the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics and will conclude with the Golden State Warriors hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder amid their record-setting start to the year.
Here are my best NBA player prop picks and bets for Tuesday, Dec. 2.

What goes unspoken doesn’t need to be said… usually. I’m going to say it. The Washington Wizards are such a miserable franchise that Maxey simply doesn’t need to waste his energy stuffing the stat sheet to win this game comfortably for his squad.
The Philadelphia 76ers are 12.5-point favorites in this game and could end up blowing the Wizards off the floor, leading to reduced playing time for Maxey. Despite averaging 32.3 points per game, he also went under this line in four of his last six games, and he only went over in his last game against the Wizards because he played 47 minutes.

The talented Murphy III hasn’t shown much interest in making the effort plays recently, whether that be on defense or on the glass (and why would he, playing for the New Orleans Pelicans)? The 6-foot-8 swingman went under this line in five of his last six games despite playing more than 35 minutes per night.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are just about league-average on the boards, but they have size on the interior and length on the wings. Murphy III is needed as a scorer more than anything else right now, and his consistency of going under this line gives me the confidence to bet the under again.

Without Stephen Curry available to force double-teams, rotations, and tilts, Butler is about to face the full wrath of a Thunder defense that has Jalen Williams back available for duty. Keep in mind, the Thunder already lead the league with a 102.6 defensive rating, six points below the second-place Toronto Raptors.
The 36-year-old Butler had 24 points in his last game, but he went under this line in five of six games immediately before that. He also only scored 12 points in 22 minutes during a blowout loss to OKC on Nov. 11 and should have very little room to operate.

If there’s one quality that opponents of the Knicks need, it’s toughness on the interior. Karl-Anthony Towns is a tremendous rebounder in his own right, and Mitchell Robinson is one of the best offensive rebounders in the history of basketball.
Queta just grabbed 18 rebounds in 29 minutes his last time on the court, and had 12 in 29 minutes two games before that. He only had seven rebounds in 22 minutes when he faced the Knicks on Oct. 24, but I believe that Joe Mazzulla will give him extra minutes tonight to help match up with what the Knicks have to offer.

Fox scored 25 points on Sunday and went over this line in six of his last seven games. However, he’s had problems getting to the free-throw line, which results in games like the one he had on Sunday, when he barely cleared this line despite shooting 66.7 percent from the field and 50 percent from three.
The Memphis Grizzlies have great rim protectors in Zach Edey and Jaren Jackson Jr. clogging the lane, which could affect Fox’s decision-making in the lane. The Spurs also have enough talent to win without him totally dominating as a scorer, so I’ll fade him in this spot.
