The NBA returns to close out the week, and I’ve picked out my best player prop bets for Friday’s action.
Cade Cunningham went for 42 points, 13 assists, and eight rebounds as the Detroit Pistons took down the New York Knicks with ease for the third straight time. Later in the evening, Bennedict Mathurin scored 38 points off the bench in his first game in front of his new fans, helping the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets.
There’s another loaded slate today, headlined by another edition of the battle for LA, as well as the Cleveland Cavaliers taking on the Charlotte Hornets.
Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for Friday, Feb. 20.

With Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabate still serving their suspensions following a brawl with the Pistons, and Coby White recovering from an injury, Williams should see an increased amount of time on the floor. He played at least 25 minutes in three straight games and went over in two of those three, while also going over in four of six games in February.
Williams went 4-5 from downtown and scored 20 points in last night’s narrow loss against the Houston Rockets. The Cavaliers are average when it comes to defending the three-point line, and Williams should end up taking enough shots to get over this line.

Randle scored 41 points in his final game before the All-Star break and hung 31 on Dallas when they last met on Jan. 28. There’s been a bit of a reset with the weeklong pause in action, but Randle appears to have a favorable matchup in front of him.
Cooper Flagg’s foot injury is expected to cost him his availability tonight, meaning that Randle will face an even softer interior. Dallas allowed the most points in the paint per game for the season as a whole, including when they still had Anthony Davis, and there should be plenty of chances for Randle to run up his box score later tonight.

Caruso was the recipient of some strange minutes distributions in recent weeks, including when he only got eight against the Phoenix Suns on Feb. 11 and seven against the Cavs on Jan. 19. He went over in three of his last four games, but he also averaged just 6.3 points per game and shot 32.5 percent from beyond the arc.
The Oklahoma City Thunder’s recent trade acquisition, Jared McCain, has added to the logjam in the team’s backcourt. He played an increasing amount of minutes in his three appearances with the team, most recently getting 24 against the Milwaukee Bucks, and he could eat into Caruso’s minutes and shot availability.

Doncic leads the NBA in scoring at 32.8 points per night, but he was also injured during his last appearance. That means that he hasn’t played in an NBA game in 15 days and could find it difficult to slide right back into his rhythm, particularly with Austin Reaves seeming like he’s ready to return to his full availability.
Doncic went over this line in two of three matchups with the Clippers, the most recent of those coming on Jan. 22. The Clippers ranked ninth in points allowed per game over the last few weeks, and I think they can hold him to the mid-20s during the Friday showdown.

The second-year Clingan averaged 11.5 rebounds per game, good for third in the league, and went over this line in five of seven outings in February. That included a 23-point, 18-rebound, seven-assist performance against the Utah Jazz in his final showing before the All-Star break.
While Clingan might be young, he has tons of size and strength and has matched up well with Nikola Jokic. He snatched 15 rebounds in 24 minutes during their only previous matchup this year and had 20 boards in 31 minutes in their final face-off last year, and I trust in his ability to cash the over once again.
