The Rams may be getting all the national attention, but this Seahawks team is tied with LA atop the NFC West standings. They enter this week riding a four-game win streak and just one loss of their previous nine games. That lone loss came against the Rams in LA, thanks to the Seattle offense failing to score on its final drive.
The Rams have the better offense, but may be without a key piece in Davante Adams. The receiver leads the NFL with 14 touchdowns, but is dealing with a hamstring injury that is holding him out of practice. That would be a massive loss, especially with the left tackle Alaric Jackson dealing with an injury of his own.
Those injuries will play a significant role on Thursday against a great Seahawks defense. They are second in scoring (17.9 PPG) and fourth in yards allowed (283.0). The defense has been especially hot of late, allowing just 25 points over their last three games. When these teams met last month, the defense held the Rams to just 249 yards of offense, and they can replicate that effort this week.
Sam Darnold's four-interception game against the Rams was well publicized, but the veteran has thrown just one since then. We expect him to be hungry for payback, leading this offense to do just enough to get the win at home.

The Rams' defense is one of the best in the NFL, but they have been vulnerable against the pass this season. They are nineteenth in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game (219.7) and fourteenth in completion percentage (63.4%). While the Rams’ pass defense intercepted Sam Darnold four times last month, they also allowed him to complete 65.9% of his passes for 279 yards.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba has made a strong case to be named this season’s NFL Offensive Player of the Year. He leads the NFL with 1,541 yards while ranking fourth in receptions (96) and touchdowns (9). The young receiver broke a short slump last week by taking nine catches for 113 yards.
Njigba has surpassed the 100-yard mark nine times this season. That includes a game against the Rams last month, where he finished with 105 yards on nine catches.

While the Rams have cut Kyren Williams out of the pass game, it hasn’t stopped the explosive back from finding the end zone. He has scored in three straight weeks and in six of his previous seven games. That includes the Rams game against Seattle in November, when Williams scored a touchdown while averaging 7.6 YPC.
The Seattle run defense has been fantastic this season, but they have been facing some broken offenses over the last four weeks. That includes last week, when the absence of Daniel Jones allowed Seattle to focus on stopping the Colts’ run game. With a far more challenging matchup set for Thursday, we expect this run defense to see a dip in production.
The Rams will likely be without their top red-zone option, Davante Adams. That will likely give Williams more looks, and we believe he capitalizes on that tonight.
