When signing up for a new account, players can claim a welcome offer of a 125% bonus match on their first deposit, plus 25 free spins. While 125% is definitely attractive for a bonus match there are some conditions you have to be aware of.

The minimum deposit amount to qualify for this promo is $30, triple the standard casino minimum deposit of $10. The bonus also has a maximum limit of $625. I spent $100 of my budget and received $225 in total.

Players have to complete a wagering requirement of 20x to collect the bonus, and have 14 days to complete the turnover. Slot games contribute 100% towards these requirements, table games and video poker contribute 10%, and live games don’t contribute at all.

Finally, the 25 free spins can only be used to play Agent Valkyrie slots (2by2 Gaming).

Overall, the bonus isn’t bad. The minimum deposit is a bit on the higher side, and the wagering requirements are slightly above the standard 15x. However, with 14 days to clear it, that’s still very doable. My biggest issue is that you’re pretty much forced to play slots if you want to meet the requirements, but many US online casinos use a similar contribution system.

PlayLive! Casino User Experience

PlayLive! Casino has a simple and clean design. While the logo resembles the Live! casino properties, it’s clear the online casino has taken its own approach to appearance and performance.

Desktop

When I loaded the PlayLive! Casino website, the first thing I noticed was the simple design of the site.

The background is white, with occasional accents in red. The pre-login page has categories running along the top, and as you scroll down you’ll see a number of the games offered at the casino.

At the bottom of the page, you’ll find casino information such as contact information, terms and conditions, and privacy policy.

While the software is nice and clean, I still find PlayLive! to be more basic than other online casinos.

I also had problems getting pages to load. Promotions, jackpots, and other sections would sometimes show up blank, and I cleared my computer’s cookies to see if that would help (it didn’t.)

I hoped my experience would improve when trying PlayLive! on mobile.

Mobile

The PlayLive! Casino app is available for iOS and Android users. I appreciated that if you’re accessing their website on your mobile device, there are links taking you directly to the app stores.

The PlayLive! app has a rating of 2/5 in the Apple Store and 2.9/5 in the Google Play Store. I’d say those ratings are fair, since my own experience was average at best. The PlayLive! Casino mobile app doesn’t even come close to the top casino apps in the industry. It’s not worth an honorable mention and honestly works better as an example of how not to build an app.

Images loaded faster than the desktop site. However, the app shut down twice without explanation. Customers online have also complained about the app freezing after a new update was installed.

Of the options available to me, I preferred to use PlayLive! on my phone, but using my Safari browser instead of the app.

PlayLive! Casino's game library has over 670 titles, made up of slots, table games, live dealers, and video poker.

While this is definitely smaller than casinos like BetMGM or FanDuel, I was happy to see a few new titles from developers that I hadn’t seen before. 

PlayLive! Casino has partnered with top casino game developers like NetEnt, IGT, Everi, and Evolution Gaming. I didn’t see a category listing game developers, but the search bar mentions the developer under the game’s name, which is a nice feature.

Slot Games

PlayLive! Casino offers 584 slot games. This includes 26 Slingo and 9 Megaways titles if you like an added challenge.

There are ten categories listed at the top to help narrow down the slot titles; in addition to listings like New and Featured, this is one of the only casinos I’ve seen highlight “Old School” classic games.

You have to click on the game icon to get any information about the game, such as return to player (RTP) or bonus features. However, I do like that recent wins by players are visible if you hover over an icon.

I was able to entertain myself for a few hours playing slots, looking for new titles to try. Thanks to PlayLive!, I’m now a fan of Lady Merlin Lightning Chase (ODDSWorks).

There are 23 table games at PlayLive! Casino. You’ll find all standard casino table games like blackjack, roulette, baccarat, craps, and poker. Video poker is also listed under the table games, with eight different versions available. While the video poker selection is below average compared to the best US video poker casinos, the overall table game lineup still gives you plenty of variety to enjoy.

Most of the games were familiar to me, from developers like NetEnt and Evolution, but I played a few rounds of First Person Blackjack and American Roulette. I played on the mobile app, and was happy to see that the table games loaded quickly on my device so the gameplay never lagged.

While 23 games is a decent selection, PlayLive! could add more titles to provide some variety and compete with larger casinos - like BetMGM, which has more than 180 table games.

Live Dealer Games

There are just nine live dealer games to be found at PlayLive!, all provided by Evolution Gaming. There are two versions each of blackjack and roulette, as well as craps, baccarat, and Texas hold ‘em.

There’s a lot of room to grow with the live dealer section. I’d love to see PlayLive! add more games, including some game shows. I was happy, however, to see a live version of Sic Bo and Football Studio offered.

There are five available payment methods for deposit and four for withdrawals.

While some will find these options limiting, PlayLive’s website says that additional methods like Venmo and Google Pay are “coming soon.”

I tested out the deposit and withdrawal process throughout the week of my PlayLive review! 

Deposits

Deposit methods at PlayLive! Casino include Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, PayNearMe, ACH, and cash at the cage.

This is a low number of options, but it contains major names like Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal. I would have liked to see more credit/debit cards, like American Express, as well as more e-wallets. As I mentioned, PlayLive! Casino is working on adding additional casino payment methods.

The minimum deposit amount at PlayLive! is $10, standard for most online casinos. I tested out the deposit process, and found it to be quick and easy.

Here is how to deposit at PlayLive! Casino:

4. Click “Deposit” to complete the transaction.

For my first deposit, I took advantage of the welcome offer, spending $100. I used PayPal as the payment method, so I was redirected there to log in to my PayPal account. It took just a few minutes, and with the PlayLive! bonus match offer I received $225 total in my account once the transaction was complete.

I made two more purchases through the week, depositing $100 each with Mastercard and Visa. Both purchases were what I expected, and processed in just a few minutes.

Remember that you have to verify your account before you can make deposits at PlayLive! You’ll find a “Document Upload” link on the website, where you can provide a copy of your driver’s license, passport, or other ID.

Withdrawals

There are just four ways to withdraw money at PlayLive! Casino: PayPal, ACH e-check, in-person, or paper check (for withdrawals over $10,000 only).

All things considered, if you’re not near a casino or withdrawing large amounts, this only leaves two methods for withdrawals: PayPal and e-check. PlayLive! Casino also states that you must have used a particular method to make a deposit before it can be used for withdrawals.

I had fortunately used PayPal to make a deposit, so I made a withdrawal request once I had enough qualifying winnings. The minimum withdrawal amount at PlayLive! is $10 online, and $100 for in-person requests.

You can see pending withdrawals under “My Account” to check their status. PlayLive! aims to process requests within 24 hours, but it can take longer if extra review is needed.

My $10 PayPal withdrawal took two days to process. Despite the limited choices for withdrawals, I always find PayPal to be a quick and trustworthy method for payments, so I was happy overall, but there are faster payout casinos out there.

I would definitely like to see PlayLive! Casino add more options for both withdrawals and deposits, to give players more choice.

Email was also helpful, but it took two days for me to get a response. They answered my questions about making withdrawals in a friendly manner.

It’s nice to see a phone option because many casinos don’t, although it’s unclear why a Pennsylvania casino uses a non-toll-free number located in Ohio. Using this option could be quite expensive. I’d also like to see them extend their hours to be more available.

PlayLive! Casino brings the Live! Resort casino experience online for players in Pennsylvania. In my opinion, it could have made a much stronger impression.

First, I’ll start with the good things. The welcome bonus of a 125% deposit match plus 25 free spins is a good welcome offer, but there are better online casino bonuses in PA.

I also liked that the Live! Rewards program can be used both online and in-person at Live! casinos. This is a good chance for PA residents to earn extra credits, and move up through six levels to gain more rewards.

However, I was disappointed by the limited options for payments, especially when it comes to withdrawals. I also had some problems with the casino freezing while I played on both mobile and desktop.

While I could pass a few enjoyable hours at PlayLive!, I think there are other online casinos providing better features and faster performance.
