Matthew Stafford is having an MVP-caliber season in 2025
Sean McVay confirmed all starters will play in Week 18
The Rams are 7.5-point favorites with a total of 46.5
It’s clear Sean McVay isn’t messing around in Week 18, as all of the Rams’ starters will be on the field. With the playoffs approaching, Los Angeles wants to build momentum, and that sets up perfectly for Matthew Stafford to have a big game against Arizona’s defense.
The Rams should play strong football, especially coming off a tough loss to Atlanta last week that cost them the NFC West. I have picked three Stafford props for Cardinals vs Rams.

Stafford’s 4,448 passing yards rank second in the NFL this season, and he’s putting together one of the best statistical years of his career. I expect him to close out the regular season on a high note.
He’s gone over this number in four straight games, including a massive 457-yard outing against the Seahawks two weeks ago. Overall, Stafford has thrown for at least 269 yards in 10 games this season.
In the first matchup against Arizona, Stafford passed for 281 yards and three touchdowns. He consistently plays well against the Cardinals, and there’s no reason to expect anything different in Week 18.
Having Puka Nacua and Davante Adams at his disposal is a quarterback’s dream. Both are explosive downfield threats, which greatly increases Stafford’s chances of cashing this prop. Expect McVay to dial up shots down the field as Stafford clears this number.

This is my favorite Stafford prop of the week. Asking Stafford to throw at least two touchdown passes has been almost automatic in 2025. Stafford leads the NFL with 42 passing touchdowns this season.
He’s cashed this prop in 14 of 16 games, and I expect that trend to continue. While the Rams have a strong run game, their passing attack may be the best in the league, which gives this line tremendous value.
Arizona allows 230.7 passing yards per game, the ninth-worst mark in the NFL, and their secondary has struggled in the red zone. Even if the Rams punch in a few rushing touchdowns, Stafford should still have plenty of scoring opportunities through the air.

Anytime a quarterback throws as much as Stafford, there’s always potential for a turnover. While he’s generally taken care of the football this season, mistakes can happen, especially in high-volume passing games.
Stafford threw three interceptions last week against Atlanta, showing he’s certainly capable of giving the defense chances. Arizona ranks 17th in the league in takeaways, and with nothing to lose in Week 18, the Cardinals should play aggressively.
If Arizona can generate early pressure, Stafford may be forced to push the ball downfield, increasing the likelihood of a mistake. That makes this interception prop worth a look.
