Of all the Big Ten teams in NCAA football, Ohio State University seems to breed the most future NFL stars, the school responsible for the second most first-round selections in the history of the NFL Draft with 76.
There are currently over 60 NFL athletes who once wore the scarlet and grey of OSU, and this season there are ten Buckeye rookies who will do their best to stand out in a league filled with the best athletes from every college with a football team.
Here we take a look at some of the top former Ohio State players now playing in the NFL, along with the predictions and odds of how they will do during the 2020 season.
Good luck.
THE Ohio State University is known for producing phenomenal defensive players (case in point, the Bosa Brothers), but it is typically difficult to find odds and wagers for athletes playing on that side of the ball.
But that said, currently, the oddsmakers have attached a special future bet on Chase Young’s rookie sack total (see below), an indication that they expect big things from yet another quarterback hungry Buckeye D-linesman.
They have also offered some killer futures for the NFL Buckeyes on offense, so next, we lay out some of the best looking of that group.
Last year’s top receiver, Michael Thomas, is expected to have another career season with quarterback Drew Brees, though in 2020 the Saints receiving corps has added deep threat Emmanuel Sanders to the mix, which could affect the number of targets Thomas sees.

Unlike his quarterback, Zeke Elliott has been paid for the foreseeable future, so expect the exceptionally healthy Dallas back to have yet another powerful season, though it should be noted he has only beaten this over twice in his career, missing it in 2017 due to a six game suspension and last season by just 18.5 yards.

As a rookie in 2019, McLaurin caught an impressive 58 balls for 919 yards and 7 touchdowns, and that was with a rookie QB (and fellow Buckeye alum Dwayne Haskins), so the odds makers have him topping 1050 yards for the over in 2020, something he and Haskins are more than capable of achieving.

Not sure what they are feeding these Ohio State defensive ends these days, but last year it was OSU star NFL rookie Nick Bosa who put on a show (as in, DPOY award level), and in 2020 the odds makers are expecting standout Buckeye Chase Young to do the same, the former unanimous All-American needing 9 sacks to beat this over, which happens to be the same total that Bosa posted last season.

Keep in mind the odds in these wagers will shift plenty of times before the actual games are played, so be sure to check back here often to get all the latest numbers.
Never bet against a hungry Buckeye – take the overs on these wagers, these OSU alumni are at the top of their games and starving for win.
