The Los Angeles Dodgers have been one of the best teams in baseball this season, and they have a massive mismatch on Tuesday. Los Angeles leads the NL West at 24-11, and I expect them to handle the Marlins easily.
Tony Gonsolin gets the start for Los Angeles against Cal Quantrill and Miami. Quantrill currently has an 8.10 ERA in six starts and now faces the sixth-best offense in baseball in the Dodgers.
Gonsolin made one start in 2025 against the Marlins just seven days ago. In this game, he pitched six innings, allowing three runs while striking out nine.
Gonsolin shouldn't have a problem with Miami’s offense, and Los Angeles will provide plenty of run support. I expect the Dodgers to score early and often against Quantrill in a blowout victory.

Philadelphia has its ace, Zack Wheeler, on the mound against the Rays, and I think they have an edge. The Phillies are 19-15 in the NL East, just trailing the Mets.
Tampa Bay is starting Drew Rasmussen, who has been solid, but now faces an offense that can do some damage at the plate.
Philadelphia is hitting .255 as a team this year, which is the eighth-best in baseball. Rasmussen must be perfect to post a quality start, and I don’t see that happening.
Wheeler is 2-1 in 2025 and has 57 strikeouts in 44 innings. His strikeout ability is what separates him from other pitchers, and it’s an excellent quality to bet on for this parlay.
I expect the Phillies to come out swinging against Rasmussen and for Wheeler to shut down the Rays' offense.

Fading the White Sox has been normal for us here at WSN. The Royals have Seth Lugo on the mound against Sean Burke and the White Sox.
Lugo is 3-3 with a 3.07 ERA in 2025 after having a Cy Young type season a year ago. He has fanned 34 batters in 44 innings and has a 1.05 WHIP.
Burke is 2-4 in 2025 with a 4.91 ERA. Kansas City doesn’t have the best offense in baseball,, but they should still be able to score plenty of runs against Burke.
Kansas City has been playing great baseball lately, thanks to Bobby Witt, who is hitting .322 with four home runs this season. Witt is one of the best players in the league, and he is carrying the Royals right now.
I trust the Royals to take care of business against one of the worst teams in the league.
