Jalen Hurts rushed 14 times for 62 yards last week
AJ Brown had just one catch on one target against the Cowboys
Xavier Worthy is listed as questionable to play this weekend
This week’s edition of Sunday Night Football features a rematch of Super Bowl LIX as the Philadelphia Eagles visit the Kansas City Chiefs. These two teams gave us one of the most thrilling championship games in history, leading to a lot of anticipation heading into the Week 2 rematch.
Below, we will share our favorite three prop bets for this highly anticipated Sunday afternoon game. All odds we use are taken from bet365 sportsbook, and it is ranked as one of our best NFL betting sites. Hurts helped bail the Eagles' run game out in a big way in Week 1. With Saquon Barkley struggling to find room, the quarterback rushed 14 times for 62 yards and two touchdowns. We expect that to be a theme for at least the start of the season as opponents focus on Barkley.
The other reason we like this bet is the Chiefs’ struggles to contain Justin Herbert last week. He rushed seven times for 32 yards, which helped him extend drives and hold off a late comeback attempt from Kansas City. The Chargers quarterback is mobile, but nowhere near the level of Hurts.
When these two teams met in the Super Bowl earlier this year, Hurts rushed 11 times for 72 yards and a touchdown.

To the surprise of everyone, AJ Brown was only targeted once in Week 1. He caught his lone pass for eight yards, which would be all the offense he generated on the day. The Thursday Night Football matchup was the first time the explosive receivers had been targeted less than four times in a full NFL game.
In Brown’s defense, DeVonta Smith also didn’t see much action. The low receiving production is mostly the result of the offense going up early and sticking with a simple game plan. Brown also lined up against Trevon Diggs. The All-Pro defensive back showed no signs of wear and tear after being hammered by injuries over the last two seasons, managing to contain Brown in the process.
There is no question that this week’s game plan will feature a heavy dose of Brown. Not only will head coach Nick Sirianni want to get his star receiving back in the game, but he’ll likely be facing an easy test. The Chiefs allowed four different players to post over 50 receiving yards in Week 1, none of whom are close to the talent of AJ Brown.

We firmly believe that Patrick Mahomes would have surpassed this total with ease in Week 1 had Xavier Worthy not gone down. The offense had to adjust to losing the exciting young receiver on the fly, and it took time. After completing 57.1% of his passes for 98 yards in the first half, the two-time NFL MVP completed 66.7% of his passes for 160 yards in the second.
While the Chargers’ defense may have been caught on their heels after going up big, we still saw the same version of the Chiefs that has dominated the AFC West over the last few years. We expect to see that again with a week to adapt to Worthy being out and a return to the friendly confines of Arrowhead.
Reports have suggested the injury to Worthy is not as severe as first thought, and that he has a chance to suit up this weekend. Even if he doesn’t, we expect Mahomes to target a young Philly secondary that lost a couple of key pieces in the offseason, with Darius Slay and CJ Gardner-Johnson heading to other teams.
