The Panthers beat the Rams 31-28 on November 30
Bryce Young has 12 touchdowns over his last seven games
Davante Adams led the NFL with 14 receiving TDs
As absolutely no one expected, the 8-9 Carolina Panthers will be hosting the 12-5 Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Wild Card Round. While this matchup features two teams with a massive talent gap, we already saw the Panthers steal a win from the Rams once this season. We believe they will have a shot to do so again, meaning there are some fantastic bets available for our same game parlay.

The Panthers hosting the Rams for a playoff game is still stunning to us, but that is precisely what will happen on Saturday. The NFC South champs are back in the playoffs for the first time since 2017, and haven’t hosted a game since 2015. That means fans will be out in force this weekend, regardless of the long odds the team faces.
The Rams had all the advantages outside of home field, but there are other reasons to back this bet.
One of those is the way the Panthers have played. Their 8-9 record shows they crawled their way to a division title, but it was as ugly as their record shows. They have failed to cover this spread just twice since Week 9, two of which came over their last three losses.
The other is the way these teams played a month ago. The Panthers earned a stunning home upset thanks to an incredibly efficient offense and some big plays on defense. It showed their ability to overcome the talent gap and go head-to-head with this NFC West power, giving them plenty of confidence heading into this weekend.
As great as the Rams are, they have looked far more mortal on the road in 2025. They are 4-4 on the season, and 1-3 over their last four. That includes their last trip to Carolina.

We really don’t expect Carolina to win this game, but we do believe they will put up a fight on offense behind Bryce Young.
We have no illusions of Young being a future MVP, but he looked the part against the Rams earlier this season. He completed 75% of his passes for three touchdowns and 206 yards. He averaged a career-best 10.3 yards per attempt and 147.1 passer rating.
Some believe Young’s success was a fluke, but we have seen him take a big step forward since November 16. He is averaging 213.9 passing yards per game in the seven games since then, with 13 touchdowns (12) and only four interceptions. While Carolina lost its final game against the Bucs, Young still played well, completing 68.6% of his passes for 266 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
Young has surpassed this total in three of their last five games.

With Davante Adams back at practice and ready to play this weekend, we are happy to lock this leg into our same game parlay.
The veteran receiver only has 789 receiving yards, but leads all receivers with 14 touchdowns. While he missed the final few games of the season, it’s not his speed we need to rely on. The large size of Adams, along with his athleticism, makes him an ideal red zone target. With the Rams eager to avoid wasting an incredible season, we expect Stafford to rely on Adams when they need points.
