Micah Parsons returns to Dallas after being traded in training camp
The Cowboys are 1-2 and the Packers are 2-1 after three weeks
Green Bay is favored to win the NFC Championship
Micah Parsons returns home to Dallas this week for the first time since being traded by the Cowboys. Parsons didn’t like how he was being treated in Dallas, and Jerry Jones agreed to trade his franchise player.
Parsons is just one storyline in this game. There are many other players to look at for props, and I have you covered with three for the matchup on bet365.

The Dallas Cowboys weren’t going to be a strong defense with Parsons, but they needed him to rush the passer. Dallas’ trade haul will help them in the long run, but it wasn’t a short term win for the team.
Dallas has lacked a consistent pass rush, and their secondary has gone rogue multiple times this season. Caleb Williams lit up the Cowboys for four quarters in Week 4, and it’s clear he is still a developing quarterback.
Williams threw for 298 yards and four touchdowns against the Cowboys. His highest previous total was 210 against the Vikings to open the season.
If Williams beat the Cowboys, Jordan Love should have no issue exceeding 227.5 passing yards. Love only has one big passing game this season, but the Packers have been controlling the tempo of games, so he hasn’t had to throw as much in 2025.
Love’s big game was against the Commanders in Week 2 when he threw for 292 yards and two touchdowns. Dallas has the worst passing defense in the NFL, allowing 288 yards per game.
Matt Lafluer is a brilliant offensive mind, and he should let his quarterback carry the load this week. Love’s total is extremely low considering how bad Dallas’ defense has been under Matt Eberflus.

We’re very high on Love heading into Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. The quarterback hasn’t thrown for a ton of yards this season, but the team has been pass-first around the goal line.
The quarterback is tied for seventh in passing touchdowns with five on the year. He has gone over his passing touchdowns line in two of his past three games, and his one miss came last week against the Browns.
Cleveland has one of the best defenses in the NFL. This means they’re the complete opposite of Matt Eberflus’ defense.
Cleveland confused Love, but Dallas doesn’t have this capability. They have allowed explosive plays down the field all season, and Green Bay has a lot of weapons.
Matthew Golden, Romeo Doubs and Tucker Kraft have all been legitimate threats in the passing game. It wouldn’t be surprising to see all three of these players find the end zone against Dallas.

Dak Prescott is going to have difficulty moving the ball on Sunday against the Packers. Green Bay is a very complete team and it’s the reason they’re expected to go to the Super Bowl.
The Dallas Cowboys are one of the furthest things from a complete NFL team. They have the capability to pop on offense at anytime, but they’re bad on defense.
The way the Packers play, Dallas may not get a lot of chances to possess the ball. The Packers win with clock control behind their running back Josh Jacobs and an efficient passing game.
They also don’t give up big passing plays down the field, so Prescott’s chances for big gains may be limited.
The quarterback has thrown for 800 yards this season, which is fourth in the NFL. He has gone over this line in two of three games, but Green Bay is the best defense he will have faced.
When this is combined with Parsons' motivation, Prescott shouldn’t have a clean pocket much this week.
