theScore and Fox Bet Mobile Apps Go Live in New Jersey

Two highly anticipated sports betting mobile apps debuted this week in New Jersey as FoxBet and theScore app both launched from their respective companies.

The FoxBet app is being touted as

“a first-of-its kind national media and sports wagering partnership between FOX Sports and The Stars Group.”

The app from the two companies replaces the now-defunct BetStars app in New Jersey.

theScore app comes from parent company Score Media and Gaming Inc. and sets a bit of sports betting history by

“becoming the first media company in North America to create and operate a mobile sportsbook in the United States.”

Made for both Apple and Android devices, the app known as the Score Bet is a fully integrated sports betting program that offers customers a complete wagering experience from the comfort of their mobile device.

Why is the FoxBet App So Highly Anticipated?

The reason why customers are so excited about the FoxBet app is because this is the first time that a major network has entered the betting market with the complete power of their programming offerings.

FoxBet allows customers to not only place live-bet wagers and regular games, but it provides informational content from the company’s networks such as Fox Sports 1 and Fox Radio.

“If you’re a sports fan in New Jersey, FOX Bet is a game changer,” said Robin Chhabra, Chief Executive Officer of FOX Bet.

“FOX Bet combines decades of expertise in content-rich programming and regulated online gaming to drive a superior, integrated and interactive live viewing experience for our customers found nowhere else in the United States.”

The FoxBet app is only available in the New Jersey market at launch, but the two companies behind the app hope to expand soon into other states where betting has been legalized.

What Makes theScore Bet App So Attractive for Customers?

What makes customers in New Jersey so eager about theScore Bet app is that the company comes to the Garden State with such a long history of experience in the betting industry.

At the launch of the app, customers can expect to see a program that quickly accepts bets, accurately changes lines according to the company’s bookmakers, and handles all deposits with ease.

“theScore Bet is a completely unique and ground-breaking mobile sports betting experience,” said John Levy, Founder and CEO of theScore.

“Our team has launched a best-in-class sports betting app that’s also been seamlessly integrated with our market-leading media app. Now, starting with fans in New Jersey, we’ll be able to bring the bet right to them,” he continued.

“We’ve always believed sports betting is just one facet of the overall fan experience, and now with theScore Bet we can deliver sports betting the way it was meant to be.”

One of the features that theScore has been touting in the weeks prior to launch is Bet Mode.

Bet Mode allows gamblers to get immediate access to real-time odds, live betting action and faster updates of the data that bettors need.

Both apps add to a crowded field in New Jersey as customers now have 16 different bookmakers to choose from when finding a wagering app that works best for them.
