The Falcons have only allowed five passing touchdowns in their first four games of the season
The Bills have allowed the fourth-most rushing yards and the second-most yards per carry in the NFL this year
Bijan Robinson is averaging 146 total yards per game this season, including two games with at least 100 receiving yards
There’s nothing better than Monday Night Football, especially when some of the NFL’s biggest stars are playing. That’s exactly what we’ll get in Week 6 when Josh Allen leads the Buffalo Bills into Atlanta to face Bijan Robinson and the Falcons. With star players of that stature sharing the field, Monday’s game is the perfect opportunity to place some prop bets.
After all, Allen is both the reigning league MVP as well as the current MVP favorite for this season. Not surprisingly, the Bills are also the leading Super Bowl LX favorites, even after suffering their first loss of the season. As for Robinson, he’s very much in the conversation for Offensive Player of the Year, although he does have some work left to do.
For prop bets during Monday’s game, we’re using odds from bet365 Sportsbook. There is always a diverse selection of player props available at bet365. Plus, if you’re a new customer, by signing up and making a $5 bet, you will receive $300 worth of bonus bets to get you started at bet365.
These are excellent odds for Allen, largely because the Falcons have only allowed 5 passing touchdowns in four games. But keep in mind that they have faced J.J. McCarthy, Bryce Young, and Marcus Mariota in their last three games. Equally important, Baker Mayfield threw three touchdown passes against the Atlanta defense in Week 1, so good passers can have success against the Falcons.
Needless to say, Allen fits the definition of a good passer. Outside of a 30-10 blowout over the Jets in Week 2 when his services weren’t needed much, Allen has thrown at least two touchdown passes in every game this season. Despite what the numbers say about the Falcons, there’s no reason to think Allen shouldn’t continue throwing multiple touchdown passes.

Robinson has eclipsed 110 rushing and receiving yards in all four games this season. He did so eight times last season, even when he wasn’t getting quite as many touches as he’s getting this year. Robinson has reached at least 72 rushing yards in three of four games and has already gone over 100 receiving yards twice. One way or another, he’s racking up tons of yards.
It’s also worth noting that the Bills are one of the worst rush defenses in the majors this year. Only three teams have allowed more total rushing yards, and only one team is giving up more yards per carry than the Buffalo defense. It’s hard to imagine that defense keeping Robinson under wraps. Even if the Bills build a comfortable lead, Robinson will still get enough catches in the passing game to reach 110 total yards.

If we assume that Buffalo is the better team and will play large chunks of this game with a lead, this bet becomes rather simple. Of course, the Bills let one get away from them last week. However, they are still the better team and will be inspired to make amends after last week’s loss. The fact that they’ve scored at least 30 points in four of their five games doesn’t hurt either.
In other words, a lot of pressure will fall on Penix to throw the ball with the Falcons playing from behind. In the two games Atlanta has lost this season, Penix has attempted at least 36 passes. While he hasn’t been needed quite as much in the team’s wins, if the Falcons are going to be competitive in this game, it’s likely to be a high-scoring affair, which means a lot of pass attempts by Penix.
