Cleveland’s Tanner Bibee has been plagued by home runs this season. He’s been a little better lately at preventing the long ball, but he’s still allowed 15 homers in fewer than 100 innings. While pitching in Houston, Bibee is a good candidate to get burned by at least one home run.

Walker is our pick among members of the Astros to take Bibee deep. He’s 2 for 6 with a double and a home run in his career against Bibee. Walker is also 12 for 28 (.429) with two home runs since the calendar flipped to July. He’s swinging a red-hot bat right now, making him a good home run candidate, especially against Bibee.

Trevor Story Home Run (+400) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Colorado’s Austin Gomber is another pitcher who’s likely to give up a home run or two on Monday. Granted, he pitched well in his one start away from Coors Field this season. But Fenway Park may not be the best place for a lefty who has struggled against right-handed batters.

Righties are hitting .352 with a .620 slugging percentage against Gomber. Story leads Boston’s right-handed hitters in home runs, making him the best option to take advantage of Gomber. Naturally, he’s mashed against lefties this season. Plus, Story has an eight-game hitting streak, with four doubles and three home runs during that stretch. He’s hitting for tons of power right now and has a good chance to hit one over the Green Monster against Gomber.

Corbin Carroll Home Run (+300) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Yu Darvish will make his season debut on Monday. However, he may not be thrilled about facing Carroll multiple times. Carroll is 7 for 13 with a double and two home runs in his career against Darvish. After just one minor league rehab start, if Darvish isn’t at his best right away, Carroll is someone who can hurt him. 

In fairness, Carroll is 0 for 9 since coming back from the IL with a broken wrist, so there is some risk with him. However, he hit 20 home runs over the first two and a half months of the season. Given his past success against Darvish, this bet is a worthwhile risk.

Adolis Garcia Anytime Home Run (+430) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Despite an impressive 2.81 ERA, Yusei Kikuchi of the Angels has been hurt by the long ball throughout the season. That’s going to be a concern on Monday against Garcia. In 12 career at-bats against Kikuchi, Garcia has three hits, two of which are home runs. It’s also worth noting that all 11 of the homers Kikuchi has given up this season have come against right-handed hitters, so a lot of things match up for this bet.

Granted, Garcia’s power has been down this season, as he has just 10 homers. Even with a mere .228 batting average, Garcia has at least one hit in five of his last six games. He’s also hit a home run during that stretch, so things are clicking for him. Since he’s taken Kikuchi deep multiple times in the past, he’s a good candidate to do so again on Monday.
