The weekend has arrived, and I’ve got another edition of my best NBA player prop picks locked and loaded.
Nikola Jokic returned with no signs of rust, dropping 31 points and 12 rebounds as the Denver Nuggets took down a red-hot Los Angeles Clippers squad. Cade Cunningham also poured in 29 points and 11 assists as the Detroit Pistons cruised past the Golden State Warriors.
There are six matchups today, beginning at noon Eastern and running through the night. The headliner is a rematch of an in-state rivalry as the Dallas Mavericks prepare to face the Houston Rockets.
Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for Saturday, Jan. 31.

Johnson recently remembered that he was the best player on the Atlanta Hawks and began taking lots of shots again, ranging from 16 to 24 over his last five games. His unusually poor efficiency caused him to go under in his last two games, but I don’t expect that to hold.
The Indiana Pacers ranked 25th in points allowed per game over their last 15 outings, and they do not have many players with the size and athleticism needed to stay in front of Johnson. Atlanta’s big man just needs to hit his usual level of efficiency with his recent shot volume to climb over this line.
Queen averaged 12.3 points per game, but the 22 points he scored in his last outing marked the first time he beat this line in five games. He averaged 10.3 points per game in January with no three-point volume while barely getting to the free-throw line.
Although the Philadelphia 76ers ranked 22nd in points allowed per game over the last few weeks, Joel Embiid is back and looks healthy, and Paul George is also comfortable in the lineup. The New Orleans Pelicans could get blown out of the water here, and the excitement around Embiid’s health feels infectious.
The Miami Heat big man scored 20, 21, and 22 points in his last three games, after going over in three straight just before that. While he’s been on a nice run recently, he’s taken advantage of some poor defenses, and he is still 0-2 to the under in matchups with the Chicago Bulls.
The Bulls play at a breakneck pace, just like the Heat, and they are weak on defense. With all of that being said, Adebayo is falling in love with an inconsistent three-point shot, and his track record against the Bulls indicates he will go under.
DiVincenzo is in the middle of his most active month of the season, having played 32.5 minutes per game to start the New Year. He rewarded that trust by averaging 13.1 points, although he went under in six of his last nine games.
The Memphis Grizzlies ranked 19th in made threes allowed and 27th in points allowed per game over their last 15 matchups, and DiVincenzo scored 19 points when they played on Dec. 17. I expect him to get solid looks at the hoop from three and to get over this line while playing at least 30 minutes.
The San Antonio Spurs showed the NBA a few days ago how to guard Thompson—let him shoot. Although he strangely scored 25 points in that game, his obvious flaws were exposed, and he only scored nine points in nine attempts, his fewest shots in a game in 2026, against the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday.
The Dallas Mavericks might be 21st in points allowed per game over the last few weeks, but they have size and rim protection, and they don’t need to defend the young Thompson anywhere outside of the paint. Thompson went over in two of his three matchups with the Mavericks, but his show volume in his last game shows he might be in his own head.
