After a terrific start to the week on the hardwood, I’m back with five more of my best NBA player prop picks and bets for Tuesday, March 17.

Jaylen Brown outdueled Devin Booker’s 40 points with 41 points, seven rebounds, and six assists as the Boston Celtics defended their home court against the Phoenix Suns last night. Luka Doncic also dropped 36 points and six rebounds as the Los Angeles Lakers won a crucial matchup against the Houston Rockets in the top four of the Western Conference standings.

Today’s slate features several notable matchups, none of which are more important than the Suns going on the road to face the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Here are my favorite NBA player prop picks and bets for Tuesday, March 17.

Best NBA Player Props Today 2026 03 17

Cade Cunningham Over 24.5 Points (-122) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Cunningham scored 30 and 46 points in his two previous matchups with the Washington Wizards, who allowed the second-most points per game in the entire NBA. He’s also fresh off of scoring 33 points against the much better defense of the Toronto Raptors after going under in three straight games before that.

The biggest concern with this line is that the Detroit Pistons could easily blow the Wizards off the court, leaving Cunningham to play 30 or fewer minutes. However, I’m willing to take the risk knowing how bad Washington’s defense is and how Cunningham dominated them in their previous encounters.

Coby White Over 12.5 Points (-130) at FanDuel Sportsbook

White demonstrated his value to the Charlotte Hornets in their last outing, a 13-point loss to the San Antonio Spurs, as he took over for LaMelo Ball and dropped 18 points in only 26 minutes, finishing +4 to Ball’s -22. He went over in four of seven games since being traded to Charlotte and just played 26 minutes, the highest amount in his new threads.

The Miami Heat were right in the middle of the league in points allowed per game over the last few weeks, but White went over in three matchups against them, including one 11 days ago. The Hornets’ offense has been cooking for months, and White should get plenty of shots.

Julius Randle Over 7.5 Rebounds (+120) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Randle is going to take on a starring role in tonight’s showdown, with Anthony Edwards expected to miss the contest. While he went under in four straight games, he also went over in four of his last seven outings without Edwards on the floor, and likely would’ve made that five in seven if he played more than 23 minutes in one of those games.

The Suns just played a tough, physical matchup against the Celtics last night, and now they’re on the road for the second night of a back-to-back. Although they ranked 14th in rebounds allowed per game over the last few weeks, they should be tired and prone to missing more shots than usual.

Stephon Castle Over 1.5 Threes (+146) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Castle went under in consecutive games, but he also went over in three straight outings just before that and made 1.6 threes per game on 40 percent shooting in March. He should also be allowed to shoot without pressure against an inferior Sacramento Kings team.

Castle went under in both matchups with the Kings this season, but it’s hard to trust their defense, given they allowed the second-most threes per game in the NBA across their last 15 contests. This should also be a lighter night for Victor Wembanyama, given it’s the second night of a back-to-back, leaving more shots on the table for other Spurs members.

Quentin Grimes Over 20.5 Points (-104) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Grimes has proven at different points in his career that he can legitimately score the basketball at an NBA level. He dropped 31 points in his last outings and went over in four of his last six contests, averaging 23.2 points per game during that stretch.

Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre Jr., and Joel Embiid are all out of the lineup, leaving Grimes the freedom to take a ton of shots. The Nuggets were 21st in points allowed per game over the last few weeks, and simply put, someone needs to score the points for the Philadelphia 76ers.
