Yesterday marked an unforgettable day of basketball at all levels, and as the page turns to Friday, I’m back to share my favorite NBA player prop picks for today.
Luka Doncic racked up 60 points, seven rebounds, and five steals on the second night of a back-to-back and in a win against the Miami Heat, bringing him to 100 points in 24 hours. Victor Wembanyama also went for 34 points, 12 rebounds, and a game-winner, while young VJ Edgecombe played the best game of his career, with 38 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds.
There are only six games scheduled today. The standout matchup will see the Denver Nuggets host the Toronto Raptors at Mile High in the 9:00 p.m. ET slot.
Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for Friday, March 20.

I realize that the Detroit Pistons didn’t show any ill effects in their dominant win over the Washington Wizards the other night, their first game since it was revealed that Cade Cunningham had suffered a collapsed lung. However, I expect their offense to regress and to struggle to find its rhythm against a team with a pulse on defense, which the Golden State Warriors have.
Reduced offensive efficiency will lead to more missed shots and more rebounding opportunities, creating more chances for Porzingis to get on the boards. He went over in three of five games since joining the Warriors and averaged 7.6 rebounds per game for his career.

Clingan ranks third in the entire NBA at 11.6 rebounds per game. He went over in his last game and has now logged over in five of nine appearances in March, while averaging 12.6 boards per game during that time.
The 22-year-old’s minutes distribution has been anything but consistent, which introduced an element of randomness into this pick. Despite going under in all three matchups with the Minnesota Timberwolves this season, he should see heavy playing time because of Minnesota’s front line, and he’s proven that he has the capability to hit this number.

Tatum is only shooting 30.5 percent from three-point land since he made his return to the NBA court. That’s despite him not being hesitant to chuck up shots, having taken 9.8 threes per game and the most on a per-minute basis in his career.
While Tatum figures to improve as he finds his shooting rhythm, he still split the over/under at three games apiece. The Memphis Grizzlies weren’t far away from having a top-10 three-point defense over the last few weeks, and the positive odds are enticing.

Durant scored 18 points in consecutive games, had 32 before that, but also just 11 before that. He should be understandably frustrated with the way his games have played out recently, leading me to think that he could come out ulta-aggressive as a scorer tonight.
The Atlanta Hawks played much better on defense recently, ranking seventh in points allowed per game over their last 15 contests. However, Durant scored 31 in his only matchup with the Hawks this season, and he’s still averaging 25.7 points per game for the year.

Barnes averaged 7.8 rebounds per game and went over in consecutive games after a significant cold streak immediately before that. However, he also grabbed 14 rebounds in 33 minutes in the Raptors’ only meeting with the Nuggets this season on New Year’s Eve.
While Nikola Jokic leads the league in rebounding, the Nuggets as a whole were only slightly above average in rebounds allowed per game over the last few weeks. Barnes and the Raptors should be ready to put their best foot forward ahead of an important matchup, and I like his odds of going over.
