NBA Player Props and Best Bets: Luka Doncic, Jalen Johnson & More Picks for Saturday, March 21

There’s another day of action on the hardwood approaching, and I’m back with more of my favorite NBA player prop picks and bets.

Karl-Anthony Towns went beat mode for the New York Knicks, dropping 26 points and 15 rebounds in a win over the Brooklyn Nets. Young Daniss Jenkins also put up 22 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds to guide the Detroit Pistons to another win without Cade Cunningham in the lineup.

Saturday’s schedule includes numerous cross-conference matchups from coast to coast, including the Los Angeles Lakers against the Orlando Magic, and the Miami Heat against the Houston Rockets.

Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for Saturday, March 21.

Best NBA Prop Bets Today 2026 03 21 Hawks Jalen Johnson

Luguentz Dort under 7.5 points (-130) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Dort has quickly faded in importance for the Oklahoma City Thunder, following the arrival of Jared McCain. He went under this line in four straight games and is only shooting 23.9 percent from three, as well as 33.0 percent for the year.

The Thunder are whopping 21.5-point favorites ahead of their matchup with the Washington Wizards this afternoon. While Shai Gilgeous-Alexander usually doesn’t mind stat-padding against inferior competition, I don’t expect OKC’s starters to play their full load of minutes in what should be a blowout victory, which would give even fewer opportunities for Dort to go over this line.

Luka Doncic over 32.5 points (-128) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Doncic is easily playing like the best basketball player in the world, having averaged nearly 41 points per game over his last eight outings and scoring 60 points against the Miami Heat on Thursday. He also leads the NBA in scoring at 33.4 points per night, and he went over this line in six of his last eight contests.

Doncic shot better than 40 percent from three for nearly three straight months, making him virtually unguardable on the court. The Magic were right in the middle of the league in points allowed per game over the last few weeks, and they don’t have any defensive stoppers capable of slowing down Doncic when he’s playing like this.

Stephon Castle over 4.5 rebounds (-152) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Obviously, Victor Wembanyama is going to dominate the boards against the Indiana Pacers, who are arguably the worst rebounding team in the entire NBA. However, this is a very low number for Castle, who has proven himself to be more than formidable on the glass.

Before only grabbing one rebound in 22 minutes in his last outing, Castle had gone over this number in five of six games, while averaging 5.0 rebounds per game for the year. He had eight rebounds in the San Antonio Spurs’ only previous matchup with the Pacers this season, and I like his chances against a team that was 25th in average rebounds allowed over their last 15 games.

Jalen Johnson over 22.5 points (-122) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Among the many issues involving the Golden State Warriors, the fact that they aren’t very good at basketball stands out as the chief concern. They were 21st in points allowed per game over their last few weeks and don’t seem to have much of a hope of getting better, given the state of their roster.

Moses Moody and Al Horford are out, Kristaps Porzingis probably won’t play, Quinten Post is day-to-day, and Steph Curry’s absence means that they don’t have any kind of consistent offensive threat. Johnson went over in four of his last seven and had 23 points when these teams met earlier this year.

Darius Garland over 20.5 points (+100) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Dallas Mavericks allowed the fifth-most points per game over their last 15 contests and should struggle to contain a confident Garland, who has gotten off to a hot start since he was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. The former Cleveland Cavalier averaged 18.2 points in his new threads, but he also went over five of his last six games.

The Clippers need scoring production alongside Kawhi Leonard, and Garland has provided that. His minutes count ticked up with nearly every passing game, and he should be good to play a full load against a friendly Mavericks defense.
