The Eagles have allowed 16 total points over their last two games and just nine passing touchdowns in 10 games
George Pickens has amassed at least 78 receiving yards in five straight games
Saquon Barkley has only reached 80 rushing yards in three of 10 games this season
You can throw away the records anytime the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys cross paths. These two games hate each other, especially after the unusual spitting incident between them back in Week 1. These two rivals are set to play each other again in Week 12, making it one of the top games on the schedule this weekend.
Of course, if you were to look at the standings, you’d see that the Eagles are far ahead of the pack and heavy favorites to win the NFC East. One year after winning Super Bowl MVP honors, Jalen Hurts is in the middle of the league MVP race. On the other side, Dak Prescott is very much in the running for Comeback Player of the Year, so there is plenty left to play for on both sides.
Not only are Hurts and Prescott having good years, but both quarterbacks are surrounded by dynamic playmakers. That makes Sunday’s rivalry game perfect for prop bets.

It was all fun and games for Prescott and the Cowboys on Monday night. He threw four touchdown passes in the rout of the Raiders. But that’s unlikely to be the story against the Eagles, who have conceded just nine passing touchdowns in 10 games this season. They’ve also allowed just 16 total points across their last two games, doing so against the Packers and Lions.
In other words, Prescott is going up against an elite defense that couldn’t be playing better right now. Keep in mind that before Monday’s win over the Raiders, Prescott threw just one total touchdown across his previous two games. He also failed to throw a touchdown pass against the Eagles in Week 1, so we’re expecting a similar result this week.

CeeDee Lamb still garners most of the attention, but it’s Pickens who leads the Cowboys in most receiving categories this year. Granted, Lamb missed three games, but Pickens has been putting up brilliant numbers all the same. His over/under for receiving yards is actually lower than Lamb’s this week, so he’s the Dallas receiver you want to target.
Pickens lit up the Raiders for 144 yards on nine catches last week, showing great chemistry with Prescott. Plus, he’s totaled at least 78 receiving yards in five straight games. Whether Lamb is on the field or not, Pickens is getting plenty of targets, with him and Prescott on the same page. As talented as Philly’s secondary is, Lamb will get their best corner, making the Eagles vulnerable against Pickens.

It might be risky, but the Dallas defense is going to get the benefit of the doubt after last week. Thanks to some trade acquisitions and players getting healthy, the Cowboys looked competent defensively against the lowly Raiders. They also limited Ashont Jeanty to seven rushing yards on six carries, holding the Raiders to just 27 rushing yards as a team, albeit on just 12 carries.
Can the Cowboys have similar success against Barkley this week? It’s not out of the question with their improved personnel. Plus, it’s not as if Barkley is having his best season. He’s been held to 3.2 yards per carry or fewer in three of his last four games, needing 26 carries against the Lions last week to break 80 rushing yards. That was only the third time this season Barkley has reached 80 or more rushing yards, which is why we’ll fade him against the Dallas defense.
