Finding the best casino online in New Brunswick requires sifting through hundreds of online casinos to distinguish the safe platforms from the rest. I used my 15+ years in the business to analyze payout speeds, bonus terms, and safety protocols, selecting the few excellent Canadian gambling sites that are safe and truly deliver maximum value to players in the province.
Ontario Players
This page is intended for players in New Brunswick. Due to iGaming Ontario (IGO) regulations, the offers and casinos listed below are not available in your province. If you are located in Ontario, please visit our Ontario online casinos page to find sites licensed by the AGCO.

What are the best online casinos for New Brunswick players? Well, after assessing all the market leaders, I’ve found five internationally licensed casinos that excel in their own ways. I’ve highlighted the unique talents of each one, so you can choose the right casinos based on your preferences.

It’s obvious, but All Slots Casino is the best New Brunswick online casino for slots. You might think I’m taking the easy route here, so let me explain why it really does have a better selection of slots than other gambling sites in New Brunswick.
The first reason it’s the best place to play New Brunswick slots online is the number of hits it has. More than 25% of the 800+ slots on the site are what I call top-tier slot titles because they have high RTPs, fun features, and payouts topping 5,000x. My top three picks are ThunderStruck II, Break Da Bank Again, and Agent Jane Blonde Returns.
The second reason I love All Slots is its commitment to adding new content. Fresh slots are added each week, and they’re easily accessible via the “new” tab. Thirdly, All Slots has exclusive games and progressive jackpots. That means games like Chicago Gold are linked to a collective prizepool worth upwards of $20 million. For all these reasons, All Slots is the best New Brunswick online casino for real-money slots.

Betway Casino could have a spot on my online casino New Brunswick list through reputation alone. It’s a British brand that launched its first online casino and sportsbook in 2006. Since then, Betway has become an international brand with platforms in dozens of countries, including Canada.
Having a global presence makes Betway one of the best online casinos in Canada, New Brunswick. That’s important because you know the software is safe, the games are fair, and customer service is top-notch.
The games menu is, in my opinion, the best in New Brunswick because it doesn’t lean too heavily on slots. Yes, there are plenty of popular slots, including my favourite Hacksaw Gaming hits. But, away from games like Le Bandit and Le Cowboy, Betway has an impressive collection of table games.
Classics are flanked by modern variants with special features, such as Lightning Roulette’s prize multipliers. Adding to the array of fun games are Betway exclusives. Not only are there exclusive slots, but also live dealer games like Betway Hockey Roulette. Finally, something I’ve not seen elsewhere are exclusive parlour games, including Betway Mines, Betway Dice, and Betway Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Is Grizzly Quest the best casino online in New Brunswick for bonuses? Quite possible. All my top picks have plenty of promotions, but few provide a personal touch like Grizzly Quest Casino.
The generosity starts with a one-time deposit match bonus worth up to $2,000. That’s already a break from the norm. Most New Brunswick online casinos spread their welcome bonus over multiple deposits. Grizzly goes big from the start.
That makes the minimum deposit higher than the average ($10), but I think $20 is far from excessive for a $2,000 deposit match with a low 35x playthrough. From there, Grizzly Quest gives you a different reason to play its 2,500+ games every day.
I can’t tell you what those reasons are because they depend on you. Basically, Grizzly Quest’s software generates personalized promotions. From free spins to reload bonuses, each offer is designed to suit your playing style. For a final flourish, you can also spin for a million with Grizzly Quest’s Mega Millionaire Wheel.

It would be easy for me to come at Spin Casino from the same angle as All Slots and say it’s home to thousands of high-quality spinners. That’s true, but it’s not the main reason I’ve put it on my top New Brunswick online casinos list.
Spin Casino shines brighter than other slot-heavy sites because of its tournaments. I like tournaments because they give you extra reasons to play some of the top slots in Canada, including Avalon, Book of Oz, and Diamond Force.
Those reasons are fun, competition, and the chance to win additional prizes. Spin Casino has two types of tournaments: free-to-enter and leaderboards.
The former are open to players who complete specific tasks. You receive free bonus credits and five minutes to act. Players who make the most money win a share of the $800 bonus prizepool.
Leaderboard promotions are pay-to-play but offer bigger prizes. As before, you play selected slots to earn more points than everyone else. Top performers win anything from free spins to cash prizes. These added incentives are why I enjoy playing slots at Spin Casino.

Royal Vegas Casino has been around as long as me. That means it’s been among the best online casinos for New Brunswick players for over 20 years. Like me, you can’t spend that much time in the business without learning a thing or two, and Royal Vegas clearly mastered the art of jackpots.
I’ve seen Sisters of Oz and Wheel of Wishes offering $11 million payouts, while Mega Moolah was a comparatively meagre $5 million. I’m being sarcastic, of course. Any slot paying over a million is worth playing, which is why Royal Vegas is one of my favourite online casinos in New Brunswick.
There are over 400 alternative games to play, including speed baccarat, European blackjack, and Multifire Auto Roulette. However, for me, it’s all about slots. Having ways to win big is great, but only if you can get your hands on it.
The good news is that Royal Vegas delivers some of the fastest casino payouts in Canada. Deposits are processed instantly, and withdrawals take just 24 hours following a mandatory review period. While Visa and MasterCard are always reliable options, I prefer to use Canada’s homegrown payment processing service, Interac.

Online casino gaming is legal in New Brunswick. In fact, all types of gambling, including lotteries and sports betting, are legal in New Brunswick thanks to the 2008 Gambling Control Act. That means you can play slots, roulette, and any other games you like online or at two land-based casinos: Casino New Brunswick and Grey Rock Casino.
As per the Finance and Treasury Board website, the New Brunswick Lotteries and Gaming Corporation (NBLGC) is “responsible for the conduct and management of all provincial gaming.” Essentially, the NBLGC oversees local operators.
However, unlike iGaming Ontario, the NBLGC isn’t New Brunswick’s sole arbiter of gambling. By that, I mean New Brunswick doesn’t have a licensing system like Ontario. It’s what we call a grey market. Therefore, international operators are also available within the province.
That’s handy because your options would be severely limited if they weren’t. The NBLGC only oversees one bingo site owned by Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC). ALC’s site recently added casino games, but the lineup pales in comparison to what you get at international online gambling sites available in New Brunswick.
So, to summarize, online gambling sites in New Brunswick are legal. These sites can be based in or out of the province.
Here’s how we got to a situation where local and offshore casino sites in New Brunswick operate side-by-side:
March 2015: Grey Rock Casino opens its doors in Edmundston.
May 2010: Casino New Brunswick opens in Moncton, becoming the province's first full-service destination casino.
June 2008: The New Brunswick government passes the Gaming Control Act. This legislation officially established the New Brunswick Lotteries and Gaming Corporation (NBLGC) to oversee and manage all regulated gaming in the province.
1996: The first online casinos launch globally. While these sites were based in jurisdictions like Antigua, Malta, and the Isle of Man, they were immediately accessible to Canadian players.
Dec. 1985: The federal government passes amendments to the Criminal Code, devolving the authority to conduct and manage lottery and gaming schemes to the individual provinces.
The leading online casinos for New Brunswick players are packed with the best casino bonuses in Canada. Why? Because casino gaming is as unpredictable as it is entertaining.
Bonuses do more than boost your bankroll when you’re winning; they also form a safety net that cushions the blow when things aren’t going your way. That is why New Brunswick online casinos offer such a wide variety of promotions.
To help you understand what is available, here is an overview of the most common bonus types you will encounter.
These bonuses reward you for actions other than depositing funds into your account. For example, a top-rated New Brunswick gambling site might grant you 10 free spins just for creating a new account.
Loyalty rewards also fall into this category. While there are exceptions, you typically earn points for betting on real-money games. These points determine your VIP status and the specific bonuses you can claim. The best gaming sites in New Brunswick even let you exchange points for prizes like cash, exclusive gifts, or tickets to special events.
As the name suggests, these rewards are released only after you make a qualifying deposit. Every online casino in New Brunswick has its own rules for what counts as "qualifying," but you should always check the minimum transaction amount and valid payment methods. Some offers may also require a promo code.
Qualifying deposits typically trigger one of the following bonuses:
Match Bonus: The casino matches the value of your deposit (e.g., a 100% match doubles your money).
Deposit Multiplier: The reward exceeds the value of your deposit. For instance, a 200% multiplier triples your starting bankroll.
Reload Bonus: A reward for existing players, calculated as a percentage of your deposit. For example, if you deposit $100 to claim a 25% reload bonus, you receive an extra $25.
Some of the most popular free spin bonuses in Canada allow you to try New Brunswick online slots without spending a cent. These spins always have a fixed value, and the amount you can win is often capped, but they still offer a risk-free way to play real-money games.
In most cases, winnings are paid as bonus credits that can only be withdrawn after meeting a playthrough target. However, I have occasionally seen New Brunswick casinos run wager-free promotions, where prizes are paid directly in withdrawable cash.
Cashback is a refund on your losses. As the name implies, you receive a rebate if you incur a net loss over a specific period, usually a week.
The average cashback bonus at New Brunswick online casinos returns 5% to 20% of your losses. These rebates are usually credited as bonus funds, but the wagering requirement is typically much lower than the industry average of 35x because you have already wagered (and lost) your own money.
This is arguably the most recognizable VLT game in New Brunswick. The online version perfectly recreates the physical machine's high-volatility action, featuring expanding Lion Wilds that stick in place during the Free Spins round for massive potential payouts.
RTP: 96.16%
Volatility: High
Max Payout: 5,000x stake
A top performer on the ALC website, this underwater slot is famous for its "Wild Bubbles" feature. Bubbles float up from the bottom of the screen one row at a time, turning symbols wild, and can be boosted by the "Bubble Boost" ante bet for even more action.
RTP: 96.07%
Volatility: Medium
Max Payout: 3,000x stake
Given the maritime setting, this game is a cultural staple. While identical to the Nova Scotia favorite, New Brunswick players specifically hunt for the "Golden Lobster" in the buoy bonus, which unlocks the Pelican, Kangaroo, or Octopus sub-bonuses for extra cash prizes.
RTP: 94.68%
Volatility: Medium-High
Max Payout: 3,700x stake
One of the first slots to introduce "Tumbling Reels" (where winning symbols vanish and new ones fall from above), this IGT classic is a permanent fixture in the "Most Popular" section of the ALC app. It is lower volatility than modern games, offering extended play sessions with frequent small wins.
RTP: 94.94%
Volatility: Low-Medium
Max Payout: 5,000x stake
Before Wolf Gold existed, Wolf Run was the king of the casino floor. New Brunswickers love this game for its "Stacked Wilds" feature, which can cover entire reels on the 40-payline grid, and its nostalgic sound effects that match the physical cabinets found in local gaming centers.
RTP: 94.98%
Volatility: Low-Medium
Max Payout: 1,000x stake
While Big Bass is popular, many New Brunswick players prefer Fishin' Frenzy because it is the original game that started the "collect fisherman" trend. It is simpler and faster-paced than its competitors, making it a favorite for mobile players on the go.
RTP: 96.12%
Volatility: Medium
Max Payout: 5,000x stake
For players looking for jackpots outside of the "Powerbucks" ecosystem, this NetEnt title is the #1 choice. It features a "Falling Wilds" respin mechanic and a progressive Mega Jackpot that is won by filling rows with gold coins during the bonus game.
RTP: 96.59%
Volatility: Medium
Max Payout: Progressive Jackpot + 600x stake
This Pragmatic Play hit has gained a massive following among younger players in the province. Unlike traditional VLTs, it uses a "Pay Anywhere" system and features Zeus, who randomly strikes the reels with multiplier orbs ranging from 2x to 500x.
RTP: 96.50%
Volatility: High
Max Payout: 5,000x stake
Another IGT title that dominates the local market due to its "Super Stacks" feature. At the start of every spin, the reels are loaded with stacks of a randomly chosen symbol, leading to frequent "full screen" wins of the same symbol.
RTP: 94.90%
Volatility: Low-Medium
Max Payout: 1,000x stake
This is a newer title that is currently trending across Canadian sites. It features a unique 3-4-5-4-3 reel layout and "Increasing Jackpots," where landing tokens builds up the value of five different prize tiers until one is triggered.
RTP: 96.01%
Volatility: High
Max Payout: 5,000x stake
Online casinos in New Brunswick are nothing without games, so here’s an overview of what you can play at your favourite sites:
Slots are slick, quick, and easy to play. The premise is simple: you spin reels with the aim of matching symbols. Combinations of matching symbols trigger cash payouts and special features, such as multipliers, free spins, and mystery bonuses.
The fact that you only have to set your bet size and tap a button is what makes slots so easy to play. It’s also why you can dip in and out at will. Then, of course, there’s the fact that the top New Brunswick online slots have payouts worth upwards of 10,000x your bet.
» Check out our simple tutorial on how to play slots.
Roulette is a classic casino game that I hate playing in land-based casinos but enjoy online. I avoid live roulette tables because they’re crowded, which means you’re always fighting to place a bet before the croupier calls time.
There’s none of that online, even when you’re playing multiplayer games. It’s just the roulette wheel and its numbers (from 0 to 36) and the betting with its corresponding numbers. Once the action starts, you’ve got as long as you want to bet on specific numbers or groups of numbers.
When you’ve done that, tap the play button. That sets the wheel in motion. Finally, when the ball lands in a spot, any winning bets you’ve made are paid out.
It’s an easy casino game to play, and I love the fact that you can make low-risk or higher-risk bets. It’s also fun to try modern variants with bonus features, such as prize multipliers and progressive jackpots.
» We explain the basics of how to play Roulette.
Blackjack is my favourite real-money online casino game in New Brunswick because it’s the only one with a clear skill component.
Don’t get me wrong, there are elements of the game you can’t control, such as the cards being dealt. What you can control, however, are the moves you make.
The basics of blackjack are that you’re trying to make a total that’s closer to 21 than the dealer without going over (aka bust). Both you and the dealer start with two cards, but you can only see one of theirs.
You act first, which means standing on your total, or taking cards (hitting) until you achieve a total you’re happy with. Naturally, if you go bust, you’re forced to stop. When you’re finished, the dealer hits on any total of 16 or lower and stands on totals of 17+.
The skill in blackjack is knowing when to hit and when to stand. Basic blackjack strategy charts give you this information based on your total and the dealer’s face-up card. The simple answer is that you stand on any total over 11 if the dealer is showing a 4, 5, or 6.
» Here are the essential rules for how to play Blackjack.
Baccarat seems complicated, but it’s not. It’s a card-drawing game similar to blackjack. However, instead of trying to get as close as possible to 21, the best total is nine.
The rules of baccarat make it possible to hit such a low target because the first digit in a two-digit total is removed. For example, a total of 15 becomes five.
There are all sorts of rules governing how cards are drawn, which is why people think baccarat is complicated. The truth is that they don’t matter. The dealer (digital or otherwise) handles that. All you have to do is bet on the Player, the Banker, or a Tie.
Player and Banker wins pay 1:1, while Ties pay 8:1. What’s great about baccarat is that we know the best EV bet. The house edge on Player bets is 1.06%. For the Banker, it’s 1.24%. That’s why you pay commission on winning Player bets. But, despite this small charge, it’s still the best EV bet.
» Take a moment to understand how to play Baccarat before you start playing.
Sic Bo is a dice betting game that’s been popular in Asia for centuries. Unlike craps (which I’ll talk about next), you’re betting on the outcome of a single roll. The other difference between Sic Bo and keno is that there are three dice in play rather than two.
The betting options in Sic Bo are similar to roulette in the sense that you can make general or highly specific predictions. For example, you can bet on a number between one and six to appear on any dice. Alternatively, you can bet on two-dice combinations such as 1 +3.
» This article explains exactly how Sic Bo works.
Craps is another dice game in which you’re betting on the outcome. Like soccer, it’s a game of two halves. The phase of the game is called the come-out roll. You can place pass line bets during this phase of the game that win if the shooter rolls seven or 11.
If the shooter rolls two, three, or 12, that’s known as craps and pass line bets lose. Any other total becomes the point, and you move to the second phase of the game. The aim here is to place bets on the shooter rolling the point (i.e. the total from the first round) before hitting a seven.
» We have put together a complete guide on how to play Craps.
Keno is like bingo, but, in my view, better because you get to select the number of spots (aka numbers) you want to play. You can choose up to 10 numbers in most games, and up to 20 in some. Once you’ve done that, 20 numbers from 80 are drawn at random.
You win by matching all the numbers you’ve chosen. Payouts are based on the number of spots you’ve chosen and how many you match. For example, if you choose one spot and get a match, you win 1x your stake. Choosing 10 spots and matching them all gets you 200,000x your stake.
» This article provides a clear explanation of how to play Keno.
I’m a poker player at heart, so video poker is a go-to game. It is essentially a fixed-odds terminal game based on Five-Card Draw poker, playing much like a slot machine but using a deck of cards instead of reels.
Unlike standard slots where results are purely random, video poker is a game of probability and skill. You play against a paytable rather than a dealer or other players, and because you choose which cards to hold, your decisions directly impact the game's payout potential.
» You don't need to be an expert to figure out how to play video poker.
The best online casinos for New Brunswick players feature live dealer games. As the name suggests, these games are hosted by human dealers and streamed in real-time via high-definition webcams.
The technology uses RFID sensors to track cards and wheels, transmitting the results instantly to your screen. This allows you to play with real people from any computer or mobile device in New Brunswick.
While Evolution and Playtech are the biggest providers, developers like Pragmatic Play have expanded the variety beyond classic table games. Today, the top casinos in New Brunswick offer a wide range of live options, including game shows like Crazy Time, live slots, and crash games.
Getting from this guide to the best gambling sites in New Brunswick takes just four steps:
Find your favorite New Brunswick online casino.
Tap the registration button and enter your details, including name, address, email, and date of birth.
Verify your account using the link sent to your inbox.
Log in, open the cashier page, and make a deposit to start playing real-money games.
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) doesn’t classify lottery or gambling winnings as taxable income if you’re a recreational player. This rule applies in New Brunswick. So, if you’re not making a living from gambling, you can keep 100% of your winnings.
If you’re a professional, gambling income is taxable. In reality, there aren’t many professional gamblers, and there are even fewer gamblers making a taxable profit. The good news is that the CRA assesses each case individually.
Basically, there isn’t a standardized definition of what a professional is. That means you might not be liable for tax, even if it’s your main source of income, provided you are playing games of chance rather than skill. The other important caveat here is that offshore online casinos in New Brunswick don’t report to the CRA and nor are they obliged to.
This isn’t tax or legal advice, but what I’m saying is that New Brunswick online casino sites based outside of Canada don’t open their books to third parties.

In this case, I have spun slot reels, taken on blackjack dealers, and played dozens more games at the most popular online casino sites in New Brunswick.
Going through the same process as every other real-money player allows me to get a feel for how each casino operates. It also gives me a chance to claim bonuses, make deposits, and time how long withdrawals take, so you know exactly what to expect.
We only recommend licensed online casinos that we trust. Our job isn’t to satisfy advertisers or follow the latest trends; our job is to provide honest, insightful, and useful advice based on more than a decade of experience in the gambling industry.
Here is how we ensure that our ratings actually mean something to you:
The BetEdge rating methodology: We don't just read the terms and conditions; we put our own money on the line. For every review, we deposit real funds, play the games, and test the withdrawal process to measure payout speeds accurately. If a casino stalls on paying out, you will know about it.
Unbiased independence: We are entirely player-funded. Our reviews are never influenced by commercial partnerships. If a "top-rated" casino has a slow app or unfair bonus terms, we call it out explicitly.
Decades of expertise: Our team consists of industry veterans, from former oddsmakers to professional poker players. We know the tricks operators use to hide bad value, and we know exactly what to look for to find the best opportunities for Canadian players.
Safety first: We strictly vet every site for proper licensing and data encryption. Whether it is an offshore operator or a provincial platform, if they don't meet our security standards, they don't make our list.
We do the heavy lifting so you can play with confidence, knowing that every recommendation is backed by real data and real money testing
I want you to have fun whenever you play real-money online casino games in New Brunswick. To do that, you need to make smart decisions and play responsibly.
